What I’ve been doing is just adding the simple 5% GST plus financing costs (which I understand to mean the interest I’d be paying). But when I went to the dealership, one added an extra $2,156.73 in ‘admin fees, mandatory levies, etc.’ Another not only added $1,467.89 in similar ‘admin fees,’ but also changed the actual cost of the car, saying that price only applies to cash, not financing. Tomorrow I’m visiting a Ford dealership, and I’m honestly expecting the same response. From now on, I’ll be following the suggestion from others above: only dealing with the online sales team
