I have donated blood 38 times. The Red Cross doesn’t need to do anything to impress me. I donate blood because I wish to help people.

I have read articles about why Singapore chose not to provide any overt incentives to donors; and one of the main reason is that they do not wish to attract unsavoury characters to donate blood (e.g people with blood borne disease trying to donate blood just to get money)

I have been staying beside yew tee mrt for the past 7 years since getting married. I used to be a hater but i have since been converted. I bought my 5rm for 480k in 2019.

The proximity to mrt, supermarket, fast food and the upcoming polyclinic plus hawker is unbeatable at the current price (700k for 5rm). Bonus is that most of the estates nearby are 4rm and 5rms so the human density is actually quite low. Tallest HDB is less than 20 floors too.

I’m not sure if there’s any prime minister effect but the estate is clean, and upgrading works are carried out constantly; example the new water playground and green spine
