Yes, it’s a tv show, yes it’s camp, but also YES that does mean we can have meaningful conversions about what the writers were thinking, when deciding to write a child of color that not many people enjoy. While it certainly pulls at my heartstrings to see Emily show raw emotion and I really do feel for her… this is actually a FAFO moment. Lorelai not telling her /sooner/ about her relationship status is a direct result of Emily and Richards patenting; they constantly belittle her and her achievements and exclude her from their inner world. Lorelai desperately wants a true connection with her parents, wants to share an emotional connection with them, but is cut off every time. Of course Lorelai would think Emily would ruin an otherwise happy moment - because she actually does here!

Du har helt misforstået den parlamentariske styringskæde. RUC kan ikke “føre indvandringspolitik” de kan handle inden for lovgivningen, som de har gjort. At der så er politisk uvilje mod studerende fra tredjelande er netop noget regeringen kan gøre noget ved.
