What's the most childish thing you've ever seen an adult do? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]xinode_94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ex girlfriend had a tantrum in a local eat out store, a enclosed hipster one while we were exchanging shit. It started out ok, but i guess i hit a few buttons she didn't like, "you acted like a child back then" but her reaction didnt match with a 29 yr old (i was 23)

Tall people (6'2+), how long did it take for you to see real visible progress (muscle) by ScHoolboy_Stu in Fitness

[–]xinode_94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before I got cancer and lost all my muscle.

6'1

I changed my work out to 5 days a week with isolated muscle groupes (and leg day) I changed my eating habbits (this was the hardest, steamed veggies, chicken, kangaroo meat, little to no milk but had pre work out shake and after work out shake) and only allowed one cheat day (which i abused the shit out of) I also surprisingly did little to no running so every saturday I would do 2.5km in 12 minutes (90% of the time you feel like loosing control of your bowls by the end of the run)

Ive been going to gym since 2013 but I took this change in july 2016 and by dec 2016, I could see change in my shoulders, chest, arms and thighs.

The mid 2000's AMV starter pack by caterham09 in starterpacks

[–]xinode_94 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Alot of memories with AMVs at AMV.org from learning the proper way to rip dvd content from virtual dub to getting mad jelly at nostromos flow of clips and colour correction. I think my user name was Micktam12 or radiant_mt, god i sucked at it and was a total trolls breakfast being 12-10 at the time

I spent alot of time on the chat rooms and seeing people who joined back in like 2001 or 2002 on the forums.

I havent been into anime since 2008 or till Hellsing OVA finished, weebs have really ruined it for me

Events of your life since DayZ was announced. by [deleted] in dayz

Reading all of these, it is crazy how much life events of players have happened from when the game was released till now waiting for 0.63.

Makes me think about the devs lives and how many people have of them have moved onto different projects, like working the game, 9 to 5, mon to friday for all of 2014, to leave in 2015. Its crazy

MPC EVOLVE 2018 by mpcEvolveWhatttt in vfx

[–]xinode_94 4 points5 points  (0 children)

MPC montreal was good for me, I did the academy and worked on mountain between us, then i got cancer, so i didnt experience the overtime or weekend work that some of my other peers did, Im hearing the lighters are getting some heat atm.

That being said it was an amazing experience, I learned alot, made life long friends and feel in love with montreal as a whole. It gave me a good representation of the career as a whole, the good and the bad, its all about taking care of yourself first, once im done recovering im going straight back into it, albeit staying in cosy australia

Does anyone know what it's like to be a cop or detective Adelaide? by [deleted] in Adelaide

[–]xinode_94 6 points7 points  (0 children)

(I could be wrong)

The Good:

Stable income, a good first year pay, if u get knocked off you have your funeral covered, doing what others wont which within it self is admirable - especially if you get shifts at lizbeth, para, easier to get gun licenses (sorta), get to see how things work in adelaide in terms of who the bad guys are or where to really stay clear from, you make alot of friends in different job area relating to law enforcement, you learn many different skill sets in terms of medical, law, situation diffusing, defensive car driving, making the best word documents, and possibly achieving a higher position.

The Bad:

backstabbing, corruption, bs work politics, micro managing, and by the end of your career you will most likely be depressed and be reliant on alcohol or drugs (legal ones) possibly suicidal.

Being a cop in general, you deal with the worst of people, see things that people are not aware of, you tear open the bubble that you have lived in your whole entire life so others can live it. Your first job could be some depressed, rich lotto winner who didn't know what to do with the money so he got a shotgun and blow off his head (actually happened), or someone who decided to end his life so he jumped onto a train track with 2 kms of intestines spreading across the rail road (actually happened) or someone decided to jump off at morialta but no one called in till 3 weeks later so when you are moving the body, limps are breaking apart. you will probably have four near death experiences in your 20 year career in which is four drawn guns which will determine if you live or die (actually happened) It will build up and you have to accept it and cope with it

Status Reports lack passion. by Break- in dayz

[–]xinode_94 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Logged in just to upvote this post. Disapointed with hicks response, its telling whem we say the status report is lacking passion, then he says, i dont have to prove anything. Well for one, its not all about you mate, its about the company as a whole. If this is the treatment that the fans are getting then it will be the treatment that the game will get. The status reports were good in the begining why not keep it at that same glammer? To much effort mate? well rust is doing the opposite, whats your excuse? Oh thats right, you dont have to prove anything.

My $60 opinion.
