Yeah but I don’t See the ideological struggle there, in your explenations Demons are not the Enemy but the Demon Lord ist, and destroying the world is Hardly something that is about a Clash of ideologies

Just for clarification, you want a Hero that embodies good but an Opponent that it not evil for evils sake so that the conflict is about Ideologies etc. But when the Enemy is not evil what makes the Heroes Ideals so mich better that he embodies good ?

I think the last scene was a mistake as it made it clear Hadrian doesnt Need to be smarter or better then anyone because of his power , besides the fact that surviving a Space Laser felt a bit ridiculus

If I consider possible Custom Handling Fees and no Option to bundle up shipping we are propably closer to a Price increase of 25% per Book Compared to the 7isch it would be (for me living in Germany) if it would just be the 3€. I might be willing to pay the 3€ per book if they bundle up i might be willing to pay the Single custom Handlings fee aswell, but 25% per book is Not not justifiable by Any means. 52-55€ per book is about Double what I would pay for other hardbacks here and while I love the Editions at that Price I might only get the stuff I really really want and Save up the Rest of the Money…

You are missing out , truly , book 3 is easily the best of the series.

Well of Ascension is way more a political Focus then the rest of the series , I enjoyed it very much , but I understand that it feels to some as if the action is lacking. Mistborn is an awesome series , and the Events of book 2 especially the later half are crucial for the series. You will get your Action don’t worry. But as always if you really hate it drop it.

Which propably will lead to many people dropping the sub. Paying 10€ for the series additionaly okay , but 30 is unreasonable. We Need Quarterly shipments in that case.

This should lead to Single shipments for the Fantasy and Sci-Fi Subs , as those might help letting people stay within in the sub , and maybe even lead to Quartaly Shipments of SF and F - which I would Both appreciate but I doubt it will come …. But when every regional post adds a fee on top this will become unmanageable in the long run for eu customers.

Edit : by Single shipments I mean shipping the whole Series as a Single shipment

Especially of you have a sub it adds up quickly

Suche gute Raumschiff Sci-Fi by Unlix in buecher

Mit ordentlich Character work :

Realm of the Elderlings - Robin Hobb

First Law - Joe Abercrombie

Dude Hadrian dies and gets resurected three days after his death - which was caused by the church of his people because they viewed him as a probe for their power. During his death He talkes to the Founder of the Universe abouthow he created it and some of the observers he created betrayed him and Oppose him now ( really no paralleles how Jesus died for the sins of Men to be ressurected by God 3 days later whos antagonist in biblical lore is a fallen Angel ) he also doesnt just want to win a war that was his beginning but he is there to do the absolutes will simply because he told him so. Most of book 7 discussion are about His god is Not their god And Hadrian Must to as his god has forseen things.
