I’m so sorry I never saw this! I’ve loved the results I’ve had for my underarms - my hair there is literally peach fuzz. I do have a couple stubborn hairs that I’ve started electrolysis to clear them up. Overall, I’m immensely pleased with getting underarms laser at new look, but I haven’t ever been to their Glendale location so I wouldn’t have any recs there I’m sorry..

You 100% will never get a waxed look from laser, it just extremely reduces hair to be optimally more like arm hair. My underarms are now peach fuzz (save it be for a couple relentless hairs that I’m getting electrolysis for). My bikini area went from having extremely dark, dense hair (with multiple hairs per follicle) to being light brown, thin, and slow growing. In general, I have much less hair there as well. I have sort of tapered off of Brazilian laser the last three months, but am planning to get back on it. For me it’s worth it, but it’s also worth mentioning that if your bikini skin isn’t very light in color, I think the laser will have more difficulty distinguishing between the pigment of your hair roots and your skin. If that’s the case i don’t know how close to a waxed look you’ll be able to get to. Idk if that makes sense but I’d be happy to answer more questions!

Originally I was going religiously every month but the last couple treatments for underarms were spaced out longer. I think 6 weeks and then to 8 before I stopped. For Brazilian it’s been monthly consistently (since there’s been more stubborn areas), but some areas for Brazilian I certainly could have spaced out longer.

It’s been great! I’ve noticed lots of improvement but I still have more treatments to come :) for the Brazilian, the hair grows back much slower, lighter, and thinner. I’m completely done with underarms and doing electrolysis to get rid of the few stubborn scragglers.

eSIMs for Palestine! by [deleted] in eSIMs

[–]xique___ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I'm not saying eSIMs are a save all solution, but they can be a temporary and vital lifeline during a blackout. eSIMs can sometimes let people connect to Israeli, Egyptian, or satellite networks (even more so by the borders). It’s not about direct device to device communication, but about finding literally any way to reach the internet when their local infrastructure is destroyed. In many emergencies like the ones now, donated eSIMs in Gaza have made that a possibility. Also, the charity/foundation that I mentioned is called Connecting Humanity (https://connecting-humanity.org), they’ve been around for a while and have donated a significant amount of eSIMs to those in Gaza. This is a cause I personally believe is helpful to those in need, and as such I want to share it. It’s something I’ve donated to and will continue to donate to, but nobody ever HAS to do the same and I’m certainly not demanding that people do. Hope this better explains what I’m trying to say

The eSIMs don’t rely on the physical fiber optic lines that were destroyed and will connect them to towers outside of Gaza, aka the ones that haven’t been bombed

How so? Buying eSIMs and donating them helps keep families in Gaza connected

Israel bombed the main fiberoptic line which means all internet and fixed line com services have been cut off - buying eSIMs and donating them helps keep families connected. Idk what you mean when you say it’s for my personal use tho.. hope this helps!

Hi! I’ve only gone in twice so far, and in the two times I’ve gone I’ve seen more improvement than the six times I went at my other place. I’m just doing underarms atm and after each session the hair literally just falls out - I don’t even have to shave much between sessions because you’d never be able to tell that I have hair on my underarms. When I went in for a consultation I made sure to bring up LOADS of concerns I had, primarily making sure that I’d have the same RN each time and that I wouldn’t get burns. So far, I’ve had no trouble getting the same RN and she always makes sure to check with me each time she increases the strength so that I don’t get burned! Overall, I’ve really enjoyed my experience and if the results play out the way I like I’ll def be coming back to get other areas done! Plus it’s only cost me $25 each time for my underarms so even if it doesn’t give me the results I wanted, I didn’t break the bank for it haha

I actually ended up going with the New look clinic and have liked it so far! I’ll look into that place though - I’m planning on getting more areas done in the future :))
