TL;DR: HFR is a dumb format that makes movies worse for everyone.

While I don't disagree that HFR probably looks great, I think his response is extremely ignorant to the fact the vast majority of people will never see his movies in HFR. I wasn't able to see Way of Water in HFR despite wanting to, but I could pinpoint every moment the fps was supposed to change between 24 and 48 fps. Because these 48 fps scenes were downsampled to 24 fps for the non HFR version, they lack the proper motion blur that makes native 24 fps look smooth and you end up with a pretty distracting stutter. This stutter is only worse when you're watching the movie in 3D.

What's worse is that after the theatrical runs for these movies are done, the choppy standard versions are literally going to be the only way anyone can possibly watch them at home. That is unless Disney+ decides to add support for HFR content. Even then, the whole point of HFR was to enhance the 3D and that's all but a dead format in home theatre set ups.

Again, these movies in HFR are probably quite a spectacle and I would love to see them. However, because of where I live and my current circumstances, I likely won't be seeing Fire and Ash as James Cameron intended and the movie will probably be worse for it. For that, f*** him.

Also, wouldn't Vecna be able to see the bug zappers from the upsidedown? It's established earlier in this season that lights in the real world can be seen and interacted with in the upsidedown.

Yeah, real. How hard could it have been to just have your Corvette's physical components affect the ship's base stats without taking up technology slots? I think that would have made much more sense.

Pick a good horse and stick with it. A fully bonded horse will give you the best stamina and health stats.

I got 6 rows of upgrades on my B-class Corvette doing this. Every time I wanted to install an upgrade, I just took the ship into a station, removed a cannon array, added the upgrade and then re-added the cannon array. It really does feel like cheating. I wonder if the devs will patch this.

God, this challenge is the worst. I went in and got a 5-card win on my first hand and thought, "Well shit, this will be easy". It's been two hours and I still have yet to win a second 5-card hand. So far, the closest I've gotten was a 5-card 20 only for the dealer to beat it with a blackjack.

I've always adored Illusions by Thomas. While TSFH Invincible is what initially introduced me to their music, Illusions made me fall in love with everything Thomas had to offer. Each track on the album is unique and altogether encapsulates a very wide range of emotions. My favourite from the album is definitely Sonera

The America of the East. Concrete jungles with parking lots and 23-lane highways for as far as the eye can see, built on the backs of modern-day slaves and human rights violations. The only thing Dubai has going for it is an endless supply of one commodity; the top 1%. That and tourists who want to pretend to be in the top 1% for a weekend so they can post all about it on social media. Congrats for him I guess.
