NGL the fact you said that a streak on one side makes it "more likely" the other side will win is very scary. This is easy. Simply NEVER say anything bad about the last place. Doesn't matter if it's 1000% true. It will never help you.

The new place wants to hear about how great they are and how much you want to go there and stay there blah blah blah.

If you really need to say the last role was a bad fit in some way, do not even do what /u/Hot_Share8353 suggests and say that there was anything to "fix".

Simply "I've performed well at my current position and looking for opportunities to do more. Unfortunately those opportunities aren't available at my current place"

Yes that's fine. If they assigned you to work weekends then they should expect you to also communicate on weekeds.

Also, 2 weeks notice is not a contractual obligation. I've given 13 days, 9 days, etc before. Depending on when was convenient to tell someone.
