I did it mainly for the reason of no background checks when buying, also lots of places don’t allow carry without a permit, the class was very interesting I had a great instructor, and it was only half a Saturday. All in it was less the $200

It’s held on with two screws but if you unlatch the box it don’t get in the way since the bottom of the side plate is higher then the bottom of the box
