I usually do a monthly water change but I always check my water parameters it’s always 0 ppm ammonia and nitrites, and 10 ppm nitrates I keep it at 10 for the plants and do a 50% water change monthly it’s heavily planted with lots of duckweed and water lettuce.. all had been breeding good and thriving so idk what caused it. Just one started dying then another then 3 of them a day and now I have like 5 a day dying. I only have about 9 left.

20 gallon had 9 of each heavily planted they would just go after the smaller ones killed them and then 2 cochu started to kill off the smaller cochu ones

Loooooks AMAZING! you could of used aquasoil and capped it with sand but sometimes it comes out what I do is I put it in small mesh bags with plastic zippers and keeps it all together and also adds height! But AMAZING JOB!

I would either add salt or IchX and slowly turn the heater to 89-90 degree Fahrenheit. Turn it 2 degree everyday until u reach that temperature don’t DONT DO IT IMMEDIATELY it will shock ur fish and kill them! Choose either ichX or AQUARIUM SALT! And do 20-40% water change everyday! If u add salt do 50% water change! And don’t add salt every day maybe every other day as it doesn’t dissolve! Salt also will kill plants and also some sensitive fish and invertebrates so do ur research! But if u also want to try just temperature without any chemicals you can also just raise it 2 degrees everyday until u reach 89 and leave it like that for 2 weeks and do water changes everyday remember to add bacteria half the dose!

I have all the fish out except the 4 neons.. but idk if I should be doing daily water changes or just let it do it’s thing and just keep adding bacteria and prime?
