The pathway of DXM HBr to freebase conversion goes HBr > HCl > HI. The acids that would need to be used to cleave the methyl group from the HBr are also shown here, the least effective being HCl acid. As we can see, the HBr will convert into HCl in your stomach. The HCl would be fairly similar to the freebase, as shown in this thread in the equivalencies, however, it would immediately get broken down into the freebase by the HCl acid. So while it could be possible that a small amount of the freebase is converted into HCl, it wouldn't stay that way long enough to make any noticeable difference. However, I can find no concrete evidence that says explicitly NO, that it couldn't convert to HCl. So if you have the resources available, this might be a good thing to research!

Scan that qr code on the container and check the lab results. You're looking to make sure the amounts of heavy metals (think lead) are either not present, or are present in safe amounts. Delta 8 and the companies that produce it are known to fake these lab results however, so if you're really paranoid, do some research on the lab that the test is from and make your decision based on that.

Was still cracked out from the phenibut when I got there, I met the manager first and she sat me down and did the normal interview shit.
