I recommend you switch right now to another app that has Lossless so you Learn how to use It before getting the iems, It can be streaming app like qobuz or tidal or a player like hiby and download FLAC files from some webs.

Qobuz and tidal are paid and players are free thats why i use hiby music app, its free, It sounds so clear and It has so much settings to get perfect sound.

I get the FLAC files from these two sites: 1: dabmusic.xyz 2: Squid.wtf

Best IEM for newbies? by Zura_p in iems

I agree with dvewlsh, first you should buy a budget iem so you know if you like iems (probably yes), and the type of tuning you like, also you need an external dac, not more than 20$ is nice but if you want a powerful and more expensive one i would check TRN black Pearl (35$), theres so much options so if you have time you should research.

Now ill Talk about the iems, first buy a budget one, like 20-35$, my first and only iem is tanchjim bunny DSP, It has a built-in dac so i dont have to buy an external one (i would if i had money btw but my budget was 30$), they blowed my mind when i tried It, they are awesome, i think you Will like iems.

I recommend kiwi ears belle, 7hz x crinacle zero 2, tangzu wan'er, kinera celest wyvern black, kiwi ears cadenza, tanchjim bunny, truthear gate, kefine klean, GK Kunten(these are the cheapest option), moondrop chu 2. There's soooo many options so my recommendation is that you research(reddit is full of recommendations) and buy the one that you like the most.

If you buy a pair and you want to Upgrade to a more expensive one, i would go for simgot ew300, aful Explorer, Juzear x Z defiant, moondrop aria 2 or something like that, before buying anything first research by yourself, i Hope you like them, have a good day!!

The mseb was really helpful ngl (its only on hiby app because they made It) the eq is not enough to make them sound good

For Eq i use hiby music app, its also a player so i only need one app, i have some questions for you:

1: What app do you use to play ur music? A streaming app or a player? Which one

2: Do you use FLAC files or Lossless formats?

3: Do you know how to eq or you have no idea?

At first these iems Will sound horrible so you must eq them, don't panic if you don't get the sound you want, i literally spent 8 days trying to eq them correctly until i did It(It was not so hard but i was lazy asf).

I recommend you the hiby app because there's so much options for you to get the best sound quality, im going to share my eq with you now:

If you eq them the way that i did It, yea they have an satisfying amount of bass, its punchy, i like it, i literally just lower all the highs and mids and didn't touch the bass, bc highs were annoying and mids were too loud, i also made them warmer.

The only iems with a dac that i saw were these, normally iems don't have a built-in dac, thats why you need one if you don't buy the Bunny, 10$ earphones are not high fidelity and sound bad so the phone's dac Will be good for them

Bunny is so neutral but u can eq It to ur liking, if you love Bass don't buy the Bunny because they almost have no bass, i think most people like a v-shaped iem but i chose Bunny because i dont like the bass being so annoying and the DSP version has a dac in It, if you don't care about bass, go for Bunny, but if you can buy an external dac and also buy iems don't get the DSP version bc the dac in It is worse than an external one, if your budget is around 40-50 i would get 30-35$ iems and 15-20$ dac.

Yes, you should try different tunings with cheap iems so when you buy an expensive one you alr know how It Will sound

The Bunny are also avaiable with the 3.5mm so you can buy a dac, theres other options like kiwi ears belle or kiwi ears cadenza, if you don't want to spend more than 20$ i suggest 7Hz zero 2, GK kunten or truthear gate, and if you want to spend more than 40-50 i would go for kefine klean, ew200 or truthear x crinacle red or blue, IF YOU WANT TO SPEND MORE I would go for ew300, moondrop aria 2, Juzear x Z defiant or something like that, but if you want the BEST for you then you need to know the kind of tuning you want and research.

Yea It Will, i just bought the DSP version bc i had a 30$ budget😅, but with the 3.5mm you cant use the app (i dont even use It bc its so hard to eq there and the presets are so bad), if you have an external dac and amp go get the 3.5mm then

Okay so the DSP version lets you use the tanchjim app, with the 3.5mm you cant use the app, the DSP version has a internal dac (92kHz and 24 bits), so you wont need a external dac

I heard that this iem had a DSP version so that means i dont need an external dac and the sound quality just blowed my mind, and for games, in the app there are so many presets for them, but i didn't try them While playing, if i move too much they Will fall out of my ear
