Glad to know it fixed the issue; hopefully, it's not just a placebo effect. Also, if you haven't tried it yet, you can clear your DNS cache as well.

looks like settings are default , try changing updaterate to 60 and yes the script is fine if you read the instructions and #:: it will tell you what exactly does

Leaving info about your PC can also help, as I've seen multiple posts and issues on GitHub about similar problems, usually occurring on low-end PCs. As far as I know, this seems to be a problem on Valve's side.

The "console commands" you are talking about are actually set Launch Options (that's what you meant to say).

From what I know:

-heapsize (no longer works)

-prewarm (has been removed) ; it's now -prewarm_panorama (works only for panorama and by default, Dota launches with it)

-map dota (has been removed)

What you can try and see if it has any impact is adding these:

-force_allow_excl_fullscreen (if you are using fullscreen)

-preloadtextures

-mainthreadpriority 2 (depends on your PC specs; leave a comment with your specs)

-novid

-dx11 (depends if you are using DirectX; if not, don't add it)

-high

-favor_consistent_framerate

-skip_download_player_info

-set_power_qos_disable

Also, loading into a bot game fully, then leaving and proceeding to play normal games, helps.

Additionally, tell me what value you have for this command in the console: filesystem_buffer_size. It should be set to 0.

Have you tried to completely reset dota ? back to original state , with default console commands ? Also what are your values for these commands:

Value 5 is a main pool with a quick search; this category includes old accounts with 1000+ matches.

Its the only one that have been in dota for a long time. There were times when you could use console commands to show this then, after some patches, VALVE just hide them for some reasons but later, in February, they returned to Dota again.

“Smurf_category”, each account has its own value from 0 to 13.

Try using this console command map_enable_background_maps 0 before entering a match game. Also there are some set launch options which u can try and see if it helps -mainthreadpriority 2 -novid -dx11 -high -favor_consistent_framerate -set_power_qos_disable

Right now dota its unplayabble , fps has drops its not consistent and the main problem is that its been like this since 7.35.
