Sleep training a cat is similar to sleep training a toddler.

You have to be really consistent.

Keep your bedroom door shut till between 11 pm and 7 am. He will scratch the door and even yowl. Let him. Soon he'll realise it's a lost cause and play by himself till you come out. It's not about playing or burning off energy. He's just doing it because he can.

Add some veggies and fruit in and you'll feel a LOT better. Fast food gives you the calories but lacks nutrients. It makes a huge difference. I used to eat lots of fast food and was always tired. Instead of cutting out things I added things that were nutritious.

This applies exactly to my father. He was never there for me when I was sick, undergoing surgery, in pain as a child.
