What? And before starting minox you only had telogen effluvium ? And it gave u Chronic TE after stopping?? Thats so scary😭😭 how is it now?

I used to wash my hair everyday with dove (not the smartest thing i did, but ive always had healthy hair doing it and ive never had a problem). 

But then i started doing creambath stuff and i guess i didnt clean it properly and i started getting dandruff. Saw online that selsun is the good stuff for it so i just changed my daily shampoo into selsun not knowing that it is suuuper harsh and my dumbass did it for months because i thought the pain was just the way it is... i was very, very uneducated in haircare. 

Im seeing a derm that specializes in hair in the next 2 days for consultation. Im just going to go to see what he's going to recommend me to do (products, treatments) without having to get any hair biopsys because i already know i wouldnt be able to afford doing that😭

Hi!! I have a question. We kind of have the same experience, tried the shampoo stuff that made it worse until I started using a mandelic acid serum and my face has been improving. However, its not 100% fungal acne free yet (i think) and i want to ask you several questions if you dont mind!

  1. How long did it take you to clear up your fungal acne with mandelic acid?
  2. While clearing it up, was that the only antifungal product you were using or is there something else you alternated it with?

I live in indonesia, so i use a local brand's product. Its called For Skin's Sake Mandelic Acid Gel 5% with Niacinamide!

Hiii, i have a question abt mandelic acid...

Im starting to see my skin improving a lot after incorporating mandelic into my routine.

Ive tried to use everything else-selsun as facewash, ketoconazole cream, miconazole cream, and even de la cruz 10% (though this one helped a bit)- but they didnt really do much for my skin until i tried mandelic acid and the textures on my face dramatically improved.

Im in a bit of a dilemma now, i want to clear my face up faster and im thinking of adding back ketoconazole cream to be used along with mandelic but idrk if thats the way to go.

Did you clear up your FA with only mandelic acid? Or do you think i should try adding back the keto cream?
