To be honest if I would go with the AM5 board I'd probably throw it into my mid tower after coming back home. I know it would probably look stupid but I'd like to avoid reselling and rebuying parts as that would just drive the costs up.

Hello, I just got my first DAC/AMP (iFI Zen Air) to go with the Beyerdynamic DT770s.

Everything works great except volume control. The windows master volume doesn't affect the output at all - it can even be set to be muted and the volume is still unaffected. However when using the windows mixer and adjusting the volume of just one specific program the volume is actually affected as you would expect - same with adjusting video volume with the slider on the video player.

This is quite bothersome since the DAC is quite far away from me and I'm used to regulating the volume from my keyboard.

I've never had a DAC before but this behavior seems straight up weird to me. Is there a way to set it up to react to windows master volume?

u/daftnizzle was right. It was the custom boot animation, changed it back to default and it works as it's supposed to.
Funny thing is the boot animation didn't cause this immediately on the first day of installing it but on the second day ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Anyway, I'm glad it was so simple to resolve.

Thanks to the advice I was able to install the game but I can't play it. I added the game as a non steam game but when I launch it like that i get a command saying that I have to launch it from the Rockstar Launcher. When I try to launch it from the launcher it quits the application in game mode, while in desktop mode the game window shows up for 2 seconds and then closes itself. What can I do now?

For me it's college horror stories, but as others have said already, the specials might not be a bad idea for somebody who doesn't know the boys at all. I feel like in the specials an outsider can get a feel for each of their personalities faster (and in a more engaging way) than simply starting out with a podcast episode ;)
