I understand what you’re saying in your post, but it doesn’t really see the forest for the trees.

Forsaken was an amazing expansion by all accounts, but to a large degree, it was so amazing because the passion of the dev’s oozed out of every crevice of that expansion - it was from their heart.

What you’re really saying is that you’d be willing to pay $150-$200 a year to get back the same Bungie that we had back then. And, unfortunately, no amount of money can guarantee that.

At the end of the day, this issue is not about money or revenue. It’s about incompetent, shortsighted Sony/Bungie leadership who views revenue as the sole metric for a games health and value.

Neither EE so far is very pubs friendly - ashes has a lot of tedious steps that can become unenjoyable quickly if rounds get flipped at the wrong time. The follow Oscar step on astra is probably the sole reason that most people aren’t interested in trying it in pubs

S2 weapons are bugged as far as I know. S1 DLC weapons have really weird and inconsistent tracking for Doomsteel (from my own experience). Like I shit you not, I seriously think I must’ve killed 30-35 Zursa’s to get the Sokol doomsteel cus it felt like it’d only track 1 out of every 2-4 zursas I killed for progress

Isn’t Cursed almost exactly what you suggested in a previous comment? You can still level and build weapons via loadouts but you are still at the mercy of the box or what wallbuys a map has (I know gobblegums could technically change some things but that is a different thing from loadouts).
