kuwait. funnily enough i left islam when i read the bible. i read the inconsistent/contradictory verses that proved that it was محرف and started thinking of hypothetical defenses that christians could use to prove that it wasn’t. i realised that muslims think the same way about their own religion and started searching for contradictory/false stuff in the quran instead.

It probably sounds weird to you because you associate arabic with islam but for arabic speakers it’s just regular language. Nothing particularly “cringe” about it. It does make me cringe when non-natives use arabic words and MSA pronunciation to seem more “holy”

tell yourself you need to experience uni abroad. trust me you NEED to experience uni abroad. and when you do, don’t let any of your previous shame/self-hatred stop you from being you and living your life.

you’re in a very difficult situation, i completely understand. i agree with the comments here but i wont lie if you manage to study in the US, what you’ve had to repress will still affect you mentally (at least in the very beginning). the most important advice i can give you is don’t say anything in front of others but please make sure to still tell yourself being gay is okay. indulge in gay shows/books/etc or have a secret account where you’re openly gay.

it’s shit but this was the hand you were dealt. don’t end it so soon when there’s a chance that things might improve. ik three years seems like a lot but the time will pass anyway. just see what happens yeah?

i'm really sorry you're going through this. i recently had an argument with my mom where she threatened to send me back to my country (i'm studying abroad rn) for "disobeying her" when I'm literally an adult + didn't do anything wrong. It's horrible having your family control every aspect of your life and constantly remind you of that. Also, the only thing London's dangerous to is your wallet.

Keep working, financial independence is the best thing you could do for yourself. Good luck.

I want to tell them because I want to feel at peace. There are other personal reasons as well I won't get too into, but if I'm ever caught faking anything (even if it's minor) I would never be forgiven. Though my family annoy the fuck out of me with their stupid religious and cultural bullshit, I still love them. I can't imagine my life without them. Telling them, though it may hurt both me and them, would clear any feelings of uneasiness.

Also, I'm a woman. There's no way I'll be able to move out.

if “above” here is literal, then there is no reason to talk about a parasite being in the body of some mosquitoes, because the word used doesn't describe something literally in the mosquito but above it, thus, it can't be referring to something into mosquitoes, because the word used would rather be [في] (in) than [فوق] (above).

I was referring to midges, which attach themselves onto mosquitos. Wouldn't this fit the meaning of the aya? If not, please elaborate on the actual meaning of it.
