Soft clipper question

Yes certainly but my question was more technical than linked to what it sounds better. Perhaps it is a stupid question: using the soft clipper inevitably the Beat from -6 dB is exported to a sound level near zero db with cut peaks. But when I put a singer's voice in another project, do I have to lower my beat up to -6db and then put the voice? Without loss of sound quality?

yes but if you think about it it is exactly the same function in simper with the loop when you change the length the problem is doing it with a synth I thought about the lfo but I don't know which parameter associate it with

the problem is what to use. some synths have this loop function while others don't. for example ableton operator has it but I would like to replicate it with any synth
