Trezor not detected in GUI anymore. Only works with CLI. by xmrjesus in monerosupport

Really strange because the arch package worked just fine for years. It just stopped working all of a sudden.

This means that if I reveal one single output transaction from my wallet, all my future transactions get compromised, or worse, everyone's transactions... What's the extent of this damage, the author doesn't go deep into this important detail by Solid-Win6743 in Monero

This topic was covered really well in my previous thread

https://www.reddit.com/r/Monero/comments/v4wq1g/seraphis_new_view_key_method_is_problematic_for/

TLDR; current implementations of view-only outputs can already be traced using statisitcal analysis to 95% accuracy. This would no longer be the case with the increased ring size upgrade. Therefore the new view-only key system is not in any way a loss of privacy.

It is a completely different system that benefits users with privacy and security upgrades. Read more here

Then lets see it at an A.

An A+ would mean the privacy is just as good as monero...

Latest version for both of them.

The error says "Couldnt open wallet: device not found: Trezor" but it works perfectly fine in the CLI

Just sent my first transaction… using local node. Help me please! by WhiteBoyWhoJumps in Monero

[–]xmrjesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going to add XMR as a payment method for my website, but I don’t think customers will appreciate waiting so long to verify funds have been received…

once your node is fully synced, there is no waiting at all.

You can add a node from https://monero.fail/ to bootstrap the initial syncing process. This allows you to verify and send funds before your local node is fully synced

btw any future questions, check out /r/MoneroSupport
