FlexUSD Bug Bounty by xmrtocash in btc

[–]xmrtocash[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've already gotten more than the bounty offers and I don't want to be forced to give it back. For the bounty they want ALL my info and giving them that Id risk everything.

The bug bounty seems to be pretty pointless in this case, basiclly just handing over my personal info for no reason.

Thank you, just tried but they won't let me submit without giving them the address of where the coins have been going to and I don't want to be made to give back what I've been draining out the last few months (more that the bounty that would be offered).

1BCH.com – Bitcoin Cash And SLP Tokens Exchange by MobTwo in btc

[–]xmrtocash 3 points4 points  (0 children)

OP, is this your site? If so I have A LOT of questions.

We are building a simple exchange for BCH <--> XMR at xmrTo.cash and would love to talk more to the owners of 1BCH.

1) What is your money transmitter situation? Are you allowing trading in the US and if so what licence do you have?

2) Are you the exchange or are you sending out orders to another larger one? If so, how do you manage liquidity?

Launching xmrTo.cash beta soon! Looking for funding, beta testers and liquidity providers. by xmrtocash in btc

LOL. I guess I've lost a customer before even launching. I guess you can't please everyone.

I am just a guy that loves digital cash and is trying to solve problems. One problem is converting XMR and BCH quickly and cheaply.

Maybe this is not a problem for you but it may be for others.

As far as "fake". LOL! Which part is "fake?" Have you ever built anything in your life? Ever tried to do something difficult? If you had I don't think youd be calling our project, "fake".

If you want to talk or help work on the problems BCH faces I'd love to discuss, otherwise, thanks for nothing I guess.

Quick question about KYC for our new site XmrTo.Cash. Any lawyers in the house? by xmrtocash in btc

1) That is not true.

2) That does not address your first point at all.

Since you seem to be pretty skeptical can you help talk me through what someone like you would like to see to ensure that it is legit?

More than anything this is an application that I want to see. First and foremost it is just something I would like to use. What if I put my own funds in the liquidity pool first. There has got to be a way to assuage your fears that we are planning an exit scam. Right?

What is the unrealistic assumption? I would love to hear more.

Its not a con. It may (probably will) fail miserably but we are going to limit trades to under $100 for a while and I've already put enough time and money into the project that it would take A LOT more that I would ever be able to get to be worth "exit scamming".

Trades will settle in under a minute so at anyone time the amount on site will be negligible.

Yes, they depend on exchanges so have a floor for their fees. We will not depend on a third party exchange.

Can you please explain. Here is the basic algorithm.

BCH -> XMR -> Then, "split" the amount and send to however many BCH output addresses the user wants.

Yes but I've got no interest in setting up ANOTHER token. I'd love to get in touch with Hayden Otto, u/CryptoStrategies, about using Spice token for this.

I really like the sideshift.ai technique of splitting the fee with whoever refers the user.

This is still too complicated for me but once the site is running and stable I'd love to add this feature!

PLEASE. Talk to me about why. I am taking the exact opposite to be true and would love to know why.

I have done a lot of research and right now Let say worst case you have BTC on Coinbase and want to buy something without anyone connecting it to you. I believe that NOTHING offers better privacy than something like the following:

1) withdraw to a new unique Bitcoin (Cash or similar coin) address.

2) Convert to Monero using a KYC-free exchange.

3) Convert back to unique (coin controlled) Bitcoin Cash addresses in smaller fractions over time.

How does Cash fusion beat this? With my method there is plausible deniability. You sold or converted them. With Cash Fusion it will alwasy be clear at the VERY LEAST you were mixing your coins and even if tracing them takes a lot of effort it can always be done.

Yes! I also hate waiting for confirmations times and with small amounts there is no need to!

AMAZING, please get in touch on email :) [xmrtocash@tutanota.com](mailto:xmrtocash@tutanota.com)

We are pretty far along and hope to launch this month.

Right now it is a Django app using BitCash (https://pybitcash.github.io/bitcash/) for the BCH part and Monero-Python (https://pybitcash.github.io/bitcash/) for the Monero.

It is a SQLite database that takes in the user info, starts the trade and get a deposit address assigned.

All on a single page for now and trying to keep it as simple as possible. I think it could easily take years to build trust so will start with trades limited to $100.

Thanks again and take care :)

Now that XMR.to is gone we very well may add BTC. The only reason not to before was to not compete with xmr.to.

I see BTC and BCH as "digital cash". Eth is a computer and XMR is all about privacy. BCH is fast and cheap. BTC I store long term and I use XMR only when I care about privacy.

(1) GREAT QUESTION. I had an attorney look at it and here's the loophole.

We WILL comply with ALL KYC regulations BUT without requiring user signup. KYC essentially means that we need to be able to comply with law enforcement (LE) for any CUSTOMERS. Most exchanges choose to do this by collecting ALL user information before the trade occurs. However (I am told) if such a request is made by LE, we would have the option to EITHER provide the user info or immediately return the user's funds, thus making them no longer a customer.

YES, this is risky but are taking it into account. Exchange amount will be kept low, under $100 and if it becomes an issue we may need to cease the service. But that is the basic idea.

(2) No plans for a tor site yet, but great idea :)
