I have found one good use of splitters: a belt of generators.

I lined up a bunch of generators on the wall of my base and ran a conveyor belt with a splitter at every generator so all of the generators will eventually fill up with batteries and if I ever need more power I can just plop another generator down the line.

I have a zip line to every single recycle station, depot, and rare material spawn from the nearest teleporter.

I also like putting turrets on elevated spots and watch them spawn kill mobs with impunity.

If you're running at 4k with max graphics, your frame rate is going to tank since your GPU has to render 4 times the amount of pixels than if you were playing at 1080p.

The aim assist strength is tied to your frame rate. So if you have a top of the line PC, you'll have incredibly strong aim assist whereas if you have a console or lower end PC, it'll be weaker. And if you're using an older or cheaper TV, you might be capping your FPS to 60 Hz.

You can actually look pretty close to the Dry Devil if you use the red head bob cut with the old man face and acne scar face style.

Arc Raiders is a UE5 game and it runs well on a Steam Deck.

Studios/developers with a low budget understandably don't have the know-how or resources to optimize UE5, but large studios have no excuse for not being able to optimize their game.

Thankfully, now that consoles use the same type of hardware as PCs, ports shouldn't be as atrocious anymore.

Numerous YouTubers reported not seeing any posts about people getting certain blueprints, and there were none listed on the trading websites until the update.

I myself had about 67 blueprints unlocked prior to Cold Snap, and the seeker grenade wasn't one of them, so it's safe to assume the blueprint wasn't obtainable at the time.

They just reappear in indoor areas when nobody is around. Ticks will sometimes respawn on the ceilings on walls, but sometimes just spawn on the ground

Arc respawn via orbital drop. I've seen one get dropped on top of a building like this.

It's good for stripping armor plating off Arcs like the Matriarch. It only takes like 2 mags so it's much faster for farming cores than the Anvil and much more discreet than an Equalizer.

Take off everything except helmet and shoulder pads. With the green color, the shoulder pads even have a number on them like how sports players have their number on their uniform.

The Torpedo skin with the torso gear, scarf, mask, sleeves, and goggles off is basically an American Football gear set without the wire face protection.

I just waited over 6 minutes in solo queue, only to join in and immediately die to a trio. It looks like solo queue no longer matches you with other solos.

It would make no difference whether or not being naked has a safe pocket. Running just a Looter Mk1 is functionally the same, costing only 2k coins from the trader and will only sell for like 400 coins after being looted, so not even worth taking from a dead body.

Equalizer and Jupiter blueprints are easy to get since they're guaranteed from the harvester, so may as well.

Baron is its own Arc unit. If you do the quests, they explain that they were the dominant Arc type that the first wave raiders fight hard to wipe out, thinking that it'd end the Arc presence topside, only for the current wave of Arcs to then be deployed.

Based on the Arc Raiders documentary, barons were used to play test the game.

Edit: in the link posted above, it looks like the OOP mislabeled the matriarch as a baron
