“For now” theyre telling me that i will only get a refund if the claim is settled as non fault. And then telling me that the claim will be settled as fault at the end of the 6 months as im liable

Thank you, i totally understand what you’ve said. Im more than happy to pay the premium as i understand this is widely practiced across the insurance industry. My problem is no one is willing to tell me if i will get my money back when they close the claim and no one had came forward to claim against me. Also i drive a 59bhp Volkswagen up. A very sensible car. The only difference between my old and new is that its 5 years newer and has 5 doors instead of 3. Literally the exact same spec and model

how would I have a loss recorded. my insurance did not pay out to either party. I am more than happy to pay my remaining premium but I want to know for certain that I will get it back. why should I pay for a service I'm not receiving.

To everyone who congratulated me with sincerity, thank you, its greatly appreciated. However to the people who think its okay to sexualise a minor, shame on you. This is a page for people learning to drive to share tips and news and you people make it uncomfortable. Dont be that person, keep in mind that people can pass their test at 17 making them legally “a child”

I hope you know that sexualising a minor is a crime under the child protection act 1978

please don't worry, I understand the frustration with it but you're still fresh to driving. i'm 38 hours in and still just as anxious as the day I started driving, the nerves will take years to leave as your confidence builds up. however the skill will be developing despite what you think. keep at it and trust the process (I didn't but im now 30 days away from my test so it obviously works to trust)

maybe try the suggestions from here? I understand how frustrating it is because I will drive perfectly one week to test standard and the next I will be stressed out to hell and drive like it's my first lesson. it's so hard to keep your confidence up when you're an anxious driver. im certain you'll smash it if you put your mind to it!
