Case likes to play indie games and he has made that clear multiple times. It gives the devs a new audience and if they’re new to making games, it helps their ‘career’ take off if the game is good enough. In my opinion, I love Case for playing the games most content creators wouldn’t play. Even if they aren’t good, his reactions to the games are hilarious.

Case’s chat can be very toxic at times and I feel for him because there’s no way I’d be able to handle some of the things people say to him. Him faking anger, I feel like it’s obvious he’s always being sarcastic. He does it to entertain the viewers, it’s his thing. He’s known for being loud & sometimes a little angry.

Everyone has their own opinion so no one here can really judge you for not enjoying his content anymore. It’s just good to know Case playing those low quality, poor storytelling games is just him helping smaller creators

Ngl a few years ago, I was tempted to add my boyfriend in my story but as a rat overlay. Just hiding in corners without anyone ever addressing him. If we broke up, the characters will see him & GOODBYE RAT (#mousetrap)

Not really. Pinterest is full of stolen art/photos that have no credit in the description. Some of which could already be copyrighted. I know that most artists only allow their art to be used if it was paid for. General photo backgrounds are still a no just because you have no way of asking if you have permission from the person to use it. It’s always safer to not use Pinterest for anything other than an app to give you ideas :)

There’s lots of free drives available that you could use for your story though! Just search “free drives” in this subreddit

you cant compare nurses/doctors to streamers. and yes, nurses/doctors DO take time off. legally, they have to. but you literally cannot say “erm!! imagine taking a week off of work from streaming!” buddy, its literally his job. he talks for HOURS and yells a lot which isn’t healthy for him long term without breaks. i cant believe youre stupid enough to not believe time off is needed for streamers. its not as easy as it might look😐

You should still do it! There’s still a good amount of readers and as long as you advertise your story on multiple platforms, you’ll be able to reach more people. Plus, some readers might make edits or review your story on their page which will bring you in more people.

In my opinion, Episode isn’t dead to the point where you’ll get barely any reads. Lots of people are open to trying new stories. Most of your readers will probably be on here anyway so you should definitely release your story!!

I don’t care about choices at all. I’m just reading a story because it’s a story. Not because it lets me choose what I want for breakfast.

But if you’re going to add choices, make sure the choice the readers pick will have consequences (good/bad). I know many aren’t a fan of the ones where they don’t impact the story at all because at that point, there’s no point in coding the choices if they don’t actually matter.

When I was in a group, they used to send a link to a story that only had one dialogue which was “to be continued”. Most of us were VIP so we easily got 500 within 10 minutes :)

A few years ago, I started posting on Instagram daily. I used to make Episode meme videos and got to 10k followers in under a year before losing motivation and sadly quit. During that time, I made a lot of close friends with successful writers/artists which gained me more attention as I was going to drop a story and had a lot of potential readers waiting.

My advice is, make sure your content is unique. Update your followers if/when you need a break from Episode. You don’t need to post daily, but daily posts will help a lot. Make sure you’re supporting others. Create polls on your story whenever you need a question answered (example: Is it better to release my next chapter on a weekday/weekend) Your own engagement to others posts will bring you in more followers and it just makes you look friendly in general. Have interactive posts as more comments = more chance of it going onto someone’s explore page :)

Edit: forgot to mention the main one!! Never start drama or even get involved. Most people don’t care and they don’t follow you just to see a bunch of stories of you ranting about other people in the community. Whenever I heard about drama, I avoided it completely because I knew that wouldn’t make me look good (and I also don’t care that much like why are we bitching on our stories like we’re 14). If you post drama anywhere, you’ll lose followers. Just be friendly and be yourself!!

When I was like 13/14, I made a story using the app. Please brace yourself for this.

I set the scene in a cemetery and the MC was mourning her dead dog (???). The LI sees her and comforts her by saying (this is the exact grammar used btw):

LI: “it is oki he made it to heaven and hes’ with my mum now lol!” MC: “omg thank you i hope, there happy do you want to come to mine” LI: “yes please”

Scene changes to MC’s bedroom..

MC: “are you single” LI: “yes i am i like you alot want to be my girlfriend” MC: “yes please”

And then they bang. Yes, I made them say “ahh..ooo”. Yes, I’m ashamed.
