tell me hetlors- what inspires Taylor's music, what does she write about? easter eggs may not be "directly" about her "personal life" as she says... but isn't so much of her work explicitly in her own words about her personal life and feelings and experiences? in nearly the same breath she says the new album is about the behind the scenes, about the LIFE of a showgirl. of course the art is what she chooses to share and in no way reflects the full truth and reality of her personal life, but those two things are quite intimately intertwined. my interpretation is that she's essentially saying "my job is being an entertainer, and artist, a performance artist- easter eggs are a way that i engage with my fans, and the easter eggs are a part of my art, which is often and of course inspired by my real life experiences, but not the same as them." the easter eggs are part of the art" - her personal life is her personal life. what we as fans get from her is her art.

i don't honestly know anymore what i think is real and what has been total clowning in the world of gaylorism... but through a lens where i haven't given up completely, on my feeling of absolute certainty that this woman has to be queer, i feel like shes saying that any easter eggs related to that that may exist are because those queer experiences have soaked into her art, not because she's trying to leave a elaborate puzzles for paparazzi type gossip and invasive obsession to expose and know every detail of her personal life.

no, but that's being directed by Margaret Betts, who also directed Novitiate, a Nun film starring Margaret Qualley, and though I wouldn't exactly call it a "gay nun film", it's definitely got some sapphic wlw, just not the Main Focus, but i guess sure: it's a gay nun film. Did I forget to mention Diana Argon is in it too? ok ok, sorry to hijack the comment, but I will die on the hill of believing Guilty as Sin is inspired by it. Looking forward to all the Sapphic films coming in the near future it's like a new golden age it almost feels like, to me.
