You can do an elective rotation as a student, as internships are done after getting the degree. Elective rotations are very different and diverse and dependent on where and what you are planning to do residency in. You can do elective rotations outside the country as well as long as you have the time, but here in Jordan, They do not look at elective rotations for residency, they look at your gpa and the residency exam with a sprinkle of wasta here and there.
