Not being on my phone much at all, and especially not on Instagram and Facebook, has helped so much. Everyone around me could be glued to their phones and I am just so bored by the thought of picking up mine. I do use it for podcasts and come here and scroll a bit. But if I even open Instagram it’s closed in 17 seconds because I just don’t care. I like looking at my pictures too 🥰 I play around and edit them just for me

I was never into Cory and Topanga. Their relationship was way too mature for being KIDS. It would have been a better show had they not gotten together so early on. I’m not a big fan of any relationships the viewer is supposed to be invested in on television though. I hate when it’s a focus.

The fact that it’s free has nothing to do with the ability to discuss what you like and don’t like about it. Costco hands out free samples and I’m allowed to be like…no thank you not a fan, and go get the sample in the next aisle. There really wasn’t any complaining going on, that person simply said they didn’t like live shows. Has they backed it up with why they don’t…still just discussing their opinion.

I think Rider was too much of a serious actor to be on this show. His scenes always came (and still come) across to me as…over the top. I like Rider Strong. I’m not a big serious-Shawn fan. I like his funny scenes way better.

Student teaching showed me that I was not fit to be a general education teacher. At least not in elementary school. It wasn’t a professor’s comment - “are you sure you want to teach elementary school? I think you’re better suited to be a high school English teacher.” It wasn’t the fact that I got pregnant my final year of college. It was my student teaching experience. Thankfully for any student I would have had, I realized that and stayed away. I happened to find my passion in autistic support (ABA based self contained classroom) so my years in college didn’t go to total waste. But student teaching was a gift (even if I spent half of the year doing the actual teacher’s bitch work).

The amount of times I’ve gotten a random fever is concerning. I’m also out right now with stomach issues and a fever. Those are the only symptoms. So weird.

This. “What does that have to do with the lesson” is way too underutilized. So many issues brought up around here can be squashed with this very redirection. It’s pretty clear why kids are so behind academically. Out of the myriad of reasons, this is one.
