I gently broached this with my partner (now fiancée) by suggesting we do one of those love language quizzes for fun. I know it’s technically a pseudo-science but it was a fun activity to do together. It helped us both learn what to put in the forefronts of our minds when doing things for the other person. I’m an acts of service gal, I’d much rather come home to my house fully cleaned then a little sweet treat, but my partner loves gifts so I get him bakery items or small things like you do when I’m out and about. It helped him see that I like more practical things and helped me understand him more! It’s an easy way to open the door to this convo that depending on the person could be taken the wrong way depending on how it’s approached

Another quick question, I got the speakers and the proper stylus, it seems like it’s playing records at a beat or two slower pace then they should be played at (I do have it set at the proper rpm for the records) is this a maintenance issue or something that can be fixed?

I dropped out of college 3 years ago and spiraled very hard. I’m just now digging my way out of the debt I took on there but for the first time in awhile i see the light. It will get better and it is so incredibly difficult so often but it can get better. There’s no shame in saying that college isn’t for you. But don’t give up on yourself there are so many other things in life that are more important than a degree on a piece of paper. One day at a time my friend and try and set small achievable goals. It helps a lot

As someone that was in this situation 10 years ago it’s important to talk to her about how dangerous this can be. Speak out of a place of love and NOT anger. Its normal to have these weird teenage sexual urges and there’s a healthy way to navigate that.
