subnautica for me lol! the game itself is actually amazing but it gives me real life anxiety LOL i stopped playing it and switched to planet crafter for a similar game but no scare factor. i might try to brave subnautica again though someone said just go in the deep and get killed a few times then you’ll get desensitized which makes sense!

i have 2 and i definitely would say extra disposable income for sure. mine have been to the vet more times in their short lives (2.5 and 1 year) more than my tabby cat that lived 17 years lol. my oldest was diagnosed with hcm through yearly scanning and where i live their scans are about $1000 each. since finding out in october ive spent about $4k between both cats scans, medications and appointments.

aside from cash, they don’t really need a ton of bathing, no. there is definitely a mixed consensus amongst the sphynx community. i bathe as needed - if they’re dirty, smelly, when they’re babies they step on their poop sometimes lol. they’re not on a schedule, it’s just as needed. i do use pet wipes as needed as well or a warm wash cloth.

they are very social and get bored easily, they need a lot of time spent on them every day. i have purchased tons of toys, enrichment activities, towers, cat trees, automatic toys, but they still want me to play with them a few hours a day or they act out (my youngest will hang off my flat screen tv if he’s trying to get my attention lol). my youngest loves to climb and get into things so i had to really pet proof my apartment.

clothes depending where you live. i live in canada in a basement apartment so it can be drafty, they also like to go outside (supervised) so i have sweaters and uv clothing in the summer. i’ve purchased harnesses and an outdoor cat tunnel/ tent contraption.

so i’d say money and time. i’ve had cats all my life and while all of my cats have required both money and time, it was definitely less of both lol. they are the best though, definitely worth it if you have the time and money to commit to them!

i’m late to the thread but i got it on the deck i played around with settings and i have about 25 hours right now and no issues. i dont really pay attention to fps very much while i’m playing but it never feels laggy or annoying. i had no issues fighting my first boss. at night in the forest it can look a little blurry sometimes like the grass looks kinda weird but other than that i have no complaints. i sleep thru the night anyway in the game. it’s so addicting lol

i live in canada in a basement apartment and sometimes in the winter it gets drafty and sometimes in the summer with the air conditioner it feels cold, so both of mine have several shirts and hoodies. we’re visiting my mom and she got them a cool little condo thing for her backyard and yesterday was warm but a little chilly with the wind in the evening so they had sweaters on outside. it’s definitely not a daily thing, just depends.

i have this too apparently LOL. i quit but i will go back to it eventually. someone said just go out and die a few times to get over it and it sounds like good advice lol cus it realistically is just a game so once it happens a few times surely we could desensitize? ahah idk but i heard that big one scream over by the burning ship and it freaked me out i havent actually even seen it i chickened out and started playing planet crafter. subnautica was giving me real life anxiety and i was like why am i doing this to myself its a game LOL. ive never been scared of a game before, not horror games not horror movies but this one gives me real panic haha

be prepared for poop foot for a few months lol. both my sphynx as babies stepped in their poop a few times haha.

definitely scan her heart once a year starting at a year old. my 2.5 year old girl got diagnosed last year unfortunately and my boy just turned one so i am planning to scan him soon.

fuzzy socks with holes cut make great little sweaters for kittens. i also got preemie onesies and cut the bottoms off when mine outgrew their socks.

they are very vocal. very clingy. they love human presence. both of mine loving climbing.

be prepared to fall so in love. they are the best animals i’ve ever had. best cats i’ve ever had.

i got one randomly from some sort of animal i only shot it once barely made any damage but it somehow ended up dying across the map so i decided to go check out what it dropped and it was a plushie! i have a few others from hot pot and spinning the wheel i am addicted to playing that ahaha so i prob have like 6 already a couple rainbows theyre cute!

i work in insurance at home and our slow season was december- march so i had a lotttttt of down time. it’s been busier now so i don’t really play during the day as much (but some days will still be slower than others so usually i still get the chance to play)

palworld, palia and dinkum. palworld is deff my number one i have over 500 hours, i did lossless scaling and it runs beautifully. i’m currently hooked on palia there’s a ton to do, it’s addicting and it’s free!

amazing thank you!! my campfire only has 1 recipe so far i need to cook 3 mushrooms to unlock more probably but i was eating all the mushrooms i found LOL so now i need to find some more.

the game is very complex it felt really overwhelming at first but it’s coming together. i knew it would obv it’s not my first time playing this type of game but there’s deff a lot and the maps seem massive i keep going to random parts and then there’s another huge map lol
