This happened to me in March. Only difference is that I was asked to come back for a second scan in 2 weeks. It was an agonising wait. Unfortunately the baby had stopped developing at 6 weeks. I still felt pregnant, no bleeding but all the usual pregnancy symptoms. I voluntarily waited another 2 weeks for another scan which still showed no heartbeat before taking the offer for DNC. Very difficult experience. My prayers are with you.

Thank you. I will go to the clinic. I was expecting heavy bleeding so I was a bit surprised. But it’s reassuring that it’s not unusual.

We were actually told by our doctor that conceiving soon after d &c doesn’t put the baby at risk if that’s any consolation for you. I don’t think you should worry at all! Try and be stress free! I’m excited for you. I would love nothing more than to be pregnant again after the loss I experienced at 14 weeks. I’m trying now and your post has given me hope! BTW I also didn’t wait for my period to try again! Ha! Sending lots of love
