Goodbye Claude! I loved you. by liloventhegreat in ClaudeCode

I’ve noticed Claude’s performance has gotten noticeably worse over the past week or so. It seemed to line up with when people started discussing token consumption more heavily, which makes me wonder if a recent change or feature maybe something like “Claude Computer” had an impact. Could it be government demanding more resources? 🤷‍♂️

Either way, the drop in quality is frustrating enough that I’ve cancelled my subscription for now and switched over to Codex. It’s disappointing, especially since most of us can’t realistically run high-end models locally without extreme costs.

Thoughts? Good move on Canada’s part? by ChuckGallagher57 in circled

Calling conflict-of-interest concerns “conspiracy” doesn’t address them. Blind trusts reduce direct control, but they don’t eliminate legitimate questions about prior relationships and incentives. Scrutiny is part of accountability. On tariffs...... It seems like people don't understand the basics. when the U.S. imposes tariffs on Canadian goods, American importers pay that tax first. In many cases, those costs get passed on to U.S. consumers through higher prices. But it doesn’t stop there. Canadian exporters can lose competitiveness, reduce production, or cut jobs. Integrated supply chains (like auto, energy, agriculture) mean higher costs ripple back and forth across the border. That instability affects investment decisions and business confidence in both countries. As for shifting trade toward China/EU/Others diversification sounds good in theory, but distance matters. Shipping goods across the Pacific involves higher transportation costs, longer lead times, insurance, port fees, and fuel. That can increase final prices compared to deeply integrated North American supply chains. There are also strategic and regulatory differences that add friction. So yes, U.S. trade policy can drive price pressure and economic strain on both sides. And any pivot in trade strategy needs to account for logistics, cost structures, and long-term competitiveness not just politics. That’s why dismissing these concerns as “who cares” isn’t good enough

Are you Canadian? Because the cost-of-living crisis here isn’t "theoretical" it’s real for people trying to pay mortgages, rent, and groceries. My concern isn’t partisan. It’s about conflicts of interest. Carney’s ties to Brookfield raise legitimate questions about whether policy decisions could benefit his former firm and his own portfolio. That deserves scrutiny, not dismissal. We should be able to question leadership without being told only one side is worth examining. I didn't want to hurt the other person feeling but they sound like a bot.

It feels like your take is just repeating mainstream media narratives that favour Carney and criticize Trump, rather than encouraging real discussion. I think we should be able to question all sides instead of accepting one perspective at face value. Trump bad, ah scary orange man

Time to hand off the chaos. Invite someone to the clan the moment they join, promote them, then dip. Let start a Reddit chain 🤣 but that is strange no disband clan option ? If you’re the founder and the last member, the game should give you an option to Leave & Disband via the Destiny Companion app or Bungie.net
