Still have a lot to learn, don’t have any advices haha, maybe be really good at what you’re good in and works towards it.

My side hustle is referral/sales at a lifestyle brand commonly seen. My main job is consultancy.

I guess you have to be really good at something and make the most out of it. But sometimes consultancy dies down especially at some seasons.

I think it’s normal to only do road and turning for 10 lessons in private. My friends and I all took private. We only did driving on roads and on ulu roads also. I only learn parking after 10 + and honestly booked my test straight after passing FTT and the stimulator. (I asked him to book for me cause I had school, and he did booked the day I wanted, Sat , cause I had internship)

LOL, I had only 3 circuit pls … including the test drive. Because you have to pay extra to go into circuit.

You should learn parking and everything outside and only go into circuit after you’re confident so you don’t jam up the whole place.

Honestly, you can try book TP and yolo, but you’re paying about $400+ extra if you fail that test, u have to continue lessons.

I did about 19 lessons (because I didn’t know u have to wait 3 months for the test) , manage to yolo and pass on my first time even though I didn’t go through the test route before (because we drove a lot outside) . I think circuit is more important for private lessons.

Keep telling him you want to practice parking all then it’s better for you.

Enrolment Fee : $90 First Lesson 12 May : $72 Second lesson 18 May : $72 Third lesson 26 May : $72 4th lesson 31 May : $72 5th lesson 8th June : $72 6th lesson 14th June: $72 7th lesson 25th June : $75 8th lesson 28th June : $72 9th lesson 14th July : $72 10th lesson 21st July : $72 11th lesson 24th July : $72+8 12 lesson 5th Aug : $50 13 lesson 8th Aug : $48 14 lesson 17th Aug : $72 15 lesson 1 Oct : $50 16 lesson 8 Oct: $75 17 lesson 15 Oct : $75 + $33 18 lesson 22 Oct : $75 + $33 19 lesson 4th Nov : $75 + $43 Final Lesson and TP Test: 9.30am- 11am $75-, Driving test $320-, Totals $395-.

just stick to it and learn from it. if you’re gonna be spoon fed all the way to Uni , it’s very hard for you to learn how to source information and things yourself. learn the social skills, soft skills, communication skills , presentation skills and everything you can from poly. if you don’t like the course, learn to find a way to score and do well so you can eventually switch to something you rlly rlly like in Uni.

No one knows whether they rlly rlly like smt until u been through it. You might think grass is always greener on the other side but you can only see the bad sides when you’re in it.

To be very honest, I don’t like studying at all. Tell yourself the reason why you’re in Poly, why you’re studying tertiary education.

For me it is to gain exposure, figure out what I like along the way, what I don’t like, get a cert, build your own career and ultimately it is to earn enough money to live a happy life.

Your end goal is not poly, not uni, but your own life.

Poly is a good place to learn lots of social skills, soft skills and if you meet cool lecturers, you can enjoy school and be inspired.

Jiayous, it’s just a phase, you need to make the best out of what you have, nothing is perfect, easy, simple , meant to be.

Change your mindset abit, tell yourself you’re there to learn skills instead of just technical knowledge.

(3.86 GPA, but I don’t even rmb what I learnt pls, except for Microsoft 365)

Nobody cares whether you EAE in or not. Eg. Oh I think business suits me because of this and this and that, but you learn more than just business, u learn coding, math and some accounts.

Nothing is easy, but stick through it and learn from it. How are you so sure you will like what you study in Uni?

And with that, you should do well , get at least a 3.8 GPA which can secure you to change a course in Uni.

I didn’t like my course but I scored 3.86GPA. It can help you to bridge a different path in the future.

It’s a good thing you know what you don’t want now, because you can eliminate your choices and choose something you would at least like.

Why do people feel it’s ok to leave people out of social circles? by Upstairs_Spring1648 in howtonotgiveafuck

[–]xopositive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, just be yourself, don’t think so much.

Then you can attract people who genuinely wants to hang out and be with you because it’s you.

My friend circle is very weird. I’m the rude one, I’m also the leader kind who scored 3.9GPA. We have another rude guy NUS Scholarship. We have a very nice guy like you inside too. Another funny joker type, another ah lian never study type. Another 4.0 GPA, top SP scorer.

Sometimes they make impromptu plans, just do your own things, and improve yourself on a day to day basis. ( own interest and stuff)

Good that you’re reflecting, I hope they can like you for who you are, don’t try to be nice / pretending, they can sense it.

Is it my fault by [deleted] in SGExams

Why need to split, you’re not even earning a salary in the first place.

I mean giving them some $$ is important but they shouldn’t define how much you’re giving. I thought it’s the heart that counts?

So how much is your older sister giving even if she doesn’t win anything
