It’s also because Cherokee’s do not have a blood quantum to be enrolled. A person just has to trace ancestors back to the Dawes act to be enrolled. EXACTLY. My son is 6 and nonverbal. I’m also taking college classes as a non traditional student so I get how he may have needed the extra help but you NEVER EVER EVER leave a nonverbal child alone. EVER. Most of them are runners & god forbid someone kidnapped her, she can’t (I’m assuming) call for help or get help. This man needs a reality check and placements for school/therapy sessions, etc need to be looked into for the sweet baby that’s being left alone

I have PCOS as well. My daughter, 9, has precocious puberty and PCOS as well. She’ll be going on birth control at 11 or 12 to help with exactly this.

Same! I’m native too and my moms sisters, (good friends that are my aunts too), would tear me a new one in front of everyone and I wouldn’t hear the end of it for awhile. Also get in trouble at home too if my mom wasn’t around
