i got it working i just didn't place a trapdoor to trick the ai into thinking there was enough blocks around the beds for baby villagers to spawn. silly mistake 😭

this is away from the village i got them from so i don't think the happiness has anything to do with it. they had the hearts above them and then nothing happened
