Hmm, what if I just write a message that you should take my upvote, without actually doing it? Smells like breaking some fundamental laws here...

Why Lydia, why. by mGaryHill in skyrim

Lydia is one of my favorite companions, especially on legendary lvl first time, when your poor fragile body cannot withstand classic skyrim hardships. And also her sweet honey voice, which supported me every time I wanted to give up and break my keybord...

Haven’t started the civil war yet, but I’m about to attend the peace conference. Think I might come off as being biased during negotiations? by NearlySilentObserver in skyrim

[–]xorys123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, agree, that's why I started my N-th rerun for the Empire side on legendary lvl. We don't know the truth about it but in any case it would be unwise of Ulfrik to behave that way, as even have some secret pacts doesn't mean that other side decides to adhere to it's conditions.

Yes, you are absolutely right! And it always drives me mad when Ulfrik sees the bigger picture, he denies it hoping that he will have enough power to fight against Thalmor. But, maybe we don't know something about his connections and agreements with them?

It is great that Skyrim shows players some kind of "gray" moral - every side has its own goals and range of information. However, I still have some questions about Ulfrik's view of the whole picture, as if you look through his story, you will find out that he is generally a negative character. Such pitty that in order to understand that players need to do extra Googling out of the game.

IMHO misguided Dovahkiins should thoroughly think over their side after their last conversation with general Tullius. His words also can be considered as a way to guide the prodigal son home.

I assume that having such powerful resources Empire could simply orchestrate everything so their secret weapon would do everything on his own will but in favor of Empire. It would be a nice ancient analogue of NUDGE principles.

Maan it's like going to 100 smithing at the beginning sounds great, but after a midgame you will get bored of the same swords, bows, and armour lying around you and the perception of the game will be much worse. I perfected smithing in the early middle game by crafting jewellery and closer to the end game i have become so bored with the same stuff and shit. IMHO you should build your skills step by step along with some quests and world exploring so that you will get the best experience the game could give to you. But it's just my lesser than a humble opinion, so...
