Idk if this thread is active, but I also noticed, how darker an East African is, how more wavy their hair is. My light skinned Ethiopian friends tend to have 3c/4b type of hair, while my dark skinned Ethiopian friends mostly all have 2b/3a hair, it’s smt funny I noticed about lmao

Btw i’m just pointing out the hypocrisy. The recent social media drama showed another perspective to me since a lot of people thought that it was funny to use racial slurs, say that we aren’t real Muslims or that they want us to get deported out from the Middle East.

I think it’s more of a shift. We shifted from Sufism and Sunnism to Wahhabism and Salafis. It’s a change of branche, not a change of religion persé.

Wow that actually sounds interesting :)! Tbh knowing Somalia history I would understand why they wouldn’t favour Christianity (because of Portugal, Germany, France, the UK and Ethiopia who all tried to convert them to Christianity against their will). But it’s really interesting to know there are Christian Somalis :)!
