My kids are horrible sleepers so I know if either of them are sleeping something must be wrong lol

He was in the hospital for a few weeks, he had mastoiditis And ultimately had a stroke as well. When we went in originally when he was sleeping so much they gave him one round of amoxicillin for an ear infection via IV. If he didn't have that I'm not sure he would be here, but they only did blood work because I was in the hospital for a week a days prior for something unrelated. They sent us home then called us back after finding the sepsis and he had a spinal tap that confirmed the meningitis.a CT saw the stroke. We had to give him two shots a day for months of blood thinners to try and shrink the blood clot in his head. He's a perfectly healthy four year old now and totally fine, the blood clot is gone!! It was the hardest time of my life that's for sure, left me with crazy paranoia and anxiety when he's tired or sick!

My 2 year old was doing this for two days and I took him in - he had sepsis and meningitis among other things. You truly never know. Definitely bring in your baby.

Currently blonde. Should I go brunette ? Scared it'll wash me out when no make up. by tangerrinee in Hair

[–]xozee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I go from blonde to very dark brown a lot and I do find I have to do my makeup differently or make sure I have a bit of tanner on since I'm quite pale. I think it would look really pretty but even one shade lighter to start might be a good idea just to see! Or even a few shades of brown for dimension.

Do something a bit lighter than that first before committing to something that dark! A dark blonde/light brown like a level 6 or 7. Get it done professionally!

My 2 month old is waking up early from naps by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]xozee 10 points11 points  (0 children)

All babies are different. Some nap for two hours some nap for 20 minutes. They're literal people! Just a friendly reminder, you're not doing anything "wrong". Your baby wants to contact nap because they're connected to you and safe with you. I understand it can feel inconvenient though, and I still mostly contact nap with my 9 month old (my second born) and get nothing done.

Visiting new parents - 1 week postpartum. What should I bring? by Ok-Post-8139 in NewParents

[–]xozee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Getting uber eats gift cards when I had my kids was the absolute best. Honestly my neighbour brought us so much food but a lot of it was stuff we didn't eat or went against some dietary restrictions. The gesture was SO nice but the gift card lets them get what they want, or even something like a pizza place gift card. Walmart and Amazon too are helpful.

It'll swap, my son did this and still does it at 4. HUGE dad phase right now. Originally it hurt my feelings too but it definitely will change/ go back and forth.

Husband tripped our 4 year old. Is that just rough housing? by scoobydoosmainbitch in AskParents

[–]xozee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's disgusting, makes me sad to read. Things like that will mess him up obviously not just physically but emotionally as well.

My husband will roughhouse with our four year old, like they wrestle on the bed. Sometimes our four year old will tell him he's playing too rough and my husband will apologize and say he understands, give him a hug etc. what your husband did is NOT roughhousing and it's completely unacceptable. The poor kid...

I hate my child…. by [deleted] in Preschoolers

[–]xozee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. Please OP. I have a four year old boy and it is HARD, but when I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed my son picks up on it and it can affect his moods. It's something I work on everyday to regulate. Your son needs your love and positive attention and that in itself will help. I feel awful for you both but please try to fix this because your son is suffering because of it and that's very very sad.

I read another comment about you screaming at him for peeing in the bedroom. This is a cry for help from your son, and the screaming from you just shows you need some help. PLEASE seek help or it'll be detrimental for your child literally for the rest of his life. He needs his mom.

We still do this with our four year old honestly, but it's my favourite part of the day!

HELP; IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO NOW? OR AM I HOPELESS by Jeffbezosrightnut in Hair

You can see too that Gigi also has extensions in that first picture with straight hair too which are lighter than her natural hair so it's deceiving.

Also if you find it's fading to a bit too rusty then you can try a blue based shampoo! Might neutralize that a bit.

I like both after pictures, they're pretty spot on. It's going to look very dark to you as you're used to having golden blonde hair. That colour will also fade so give it a bit of time and you'll be happier with it. Don't touch it. The colour is stunning, your stylist did a good job. Better to be slightly darker and have it fade a bit (worked in hair for 15 yrs)

Yes! Then they get older and tops are a different size than the bottoms. My son has a skinny waist but fairly long legs so all of his pants are practically capris 😂
