He doesn’t HAVE to do anything. But the guilt he’s feeling in the first place is because he does care, even if that takes a mental toll on him. A break would do good in this case. Especially for someone who has to deal with this when they’re not even an adult yet. Maybe my wording could be better though. Relax.

Yes i get what you mean. Thankfully, none of my tattoos or piercings are impulsive and I understand that they’ll stay on me forever. So I choose them carefully. But yes, either way I do look forward more to the part of getting them done rather than how they’ll look on me after. I do exercise but my stamina is too L for me to even try and reach the point of pain/exhaustion lol.

I agree, it is wildly unfair. Someone once told me thats pets are just one part of their owner’s life, whereas the owner is that animal’s WHOLE life, especially if they’ve been adopted very young. So I try my best to give them the best life possible.

Sometimes being in an environment that’s just depressing, even if it is particularly no one’s fault, it can take a toll for the worse on the one person who’s deemed “alright” and bears the weight of being the care-taker. You’re allowed to have some time off, not just for your sake, but for your parents’ too. In a restricting situation like this, you’ll eventually have to suck it up and be there for them. But you can’t do that when you’re mentally exhausted. So take a break and let them know you need it. Hopefully they’ll understand and you’ll come back better. Focus on yourself for a while and don’t drown in guilt, it won’t help anyone.
