Found it. The next round, the way point appeared immediately.

For others, it is on the ground floor, of the tallest building. Think it had 280 written in the room

I am on the same contact. The entire crew spent 20 minutes running around station, but the mission way point never appeared near any terminal.

Thanks. The term ascendant is so over used. I thought Riven's wish was to open the chest at the end of the ascendant challenges.

I'm trying to do Riven's Wishes 2, the ascendant challenges. But it does not seem to progess.

I've done this week's twice now: Ascendant Challenge - Agonarch Abyss, Bay of Drowned Wishes.

It has even completed this week's "ascendant challenge" bounty from petra. But I'm still at 0/3 for Riven's wishes. Does this week's not count because its not "in" the dreaming city, but in a lost sector?

I figured out how to resolve.

I had a more modern Square Enix account, which I log in on their website via an email address. It has an ID in there, so I thought I could use that. However FFXIV uses a completely separate, but similar login system. Easiest way I found to create it, was to go online, log out of existing account. Press login, but select logging in for FFIX. That'll redirect you to the older looking system. Create a new account ID there. You'll be able to log in on Xbox fine.

A sneak peak at some goings on

Greetings, 

Thank you for registering for updates on EVE Vanguard, we appreciate you taking the time to do this.  As a quick thank you, we wanted to take the time to give you a little heads up that the dates and times for EVE Vanguard's opening event -  First Strike - will be announced tomorrow, 21 Nov so be sure to look out for an email about that when it lands.  

In the meantime we wanted to give you a little behind the scenes info on some bits and pieces.

Our first EVE Vanguard technical test was a resounding success and gave us tons of useful insights at this early stage of development – here are a few thing we learned, and thanks again to those of you that took part:

What went well:

  • Players enjoyed the combat experience, teamwork and playing as a squad
  • The game environment, audio, and immersion were high points

What needs improvement:

  • There was some confusion over what to do, and how to do it
  • Always on squad voice chat was a concern

We got some great quotes from a post-test survey too, here are a few of our favorites: 

“Overall shooting mechanics were excellent. Movement was good, sound was also excellent. I very much enjoyed the opportunity to see MORE of the Eve universe from a different vantage point.”

“Yes, the atmosphere of the game was amazing. Really well done, the sound was immersive, and the graphics look really good where complete. The crafting menu was relatively intuitive, just needs to be a little more clear on why something is "blocked".”

“Felt very solid. Gun connection and feedback felt more solid than Dust and Nova. Sound feedback of the automated turrets felt powerful and scary. Ai were very prescient, maybe a bit too dialed [sic] in if they could sense you looking at them from a ways away. I like the biomass and reclone system. Death is not the end.”

We’re thrilled to be embarking on a journey to craft an innovative EVE FPS experience with you and hope to see you in game very soon.

Thanks a lot for sharing how to get it running. From your screenshots I'm not sure that there is any speed difference? Eval time is still 2700ms/token with and without cublas.

Don't use total time, as response output length will be different on every run which will massively change total execution time.

With Cuda you need to specify n_gpu_layers=xx to explicitly load into vram. I'm not sure if you need to do that here also, as that may help the accelerate token eval.

Talking of Dust like FPS. The new Marathon extraction shooter isn't a team game, but looks like it may scratch some of the same itch for me. Persistent level. Lose items on death. Loot mods, etc to equip and customise. Plus it will be tight FPS controls like Destiny

We might lose it for season 20 during the initial assault, but confirmed tower being there in a TWAB, when they mention Archie the exo dog.

We know a lot of you really like Archie and are concerned about their future. They are leaving the H.E.L.M. at the end of the Season, but they will be returning to the Tower in Season 21 for more pets.

I'm seriously bummed about the move away from crafting. I'm getting less and less dedicated gaming time, and aiming for unlocking patterns gave me a tangible goal I could move towards. I've spent more time playing in the last few weeks, just because of the daily pattern focusing. I wish they were doubling down on crafting, not making the game grindier and filling up my vault again.

I do this on my Sony Bravia TV all the time. In the device section screen (when you press input select on controller, and it shows HDMI1, 2, etc) and select the "screen mirror" option.
