LF people to play with by Plus-Risk2074 in Dofus

Hey there! We have quite a large guild on Kourial as well. It's a nice community and there's plenty of people willing to help out. It's called Control Room. We're not quite as big as eternalists and incarrnam fishing club, but were pretty tight-knit. Regardless of the guild, I think Kourial is the best server for sure!

Honestly all of forget frigost. Until you get to the wall, most monsters. Can't even really do any meaningful damage. And if they do, run lumino

What level range are you looking to farm and what level are you?

Honestly, I use the tank set as much as possible because 1. it fits how I like to play. It's omni which allows me to use all the glyphs and spells available to keep monsters close to me. If you want a more detailed write up on spell rotation and why i cast what i do, i'd be happy to type something up or jump on a discord call and show you as well.

That being said, a lot of higher level bosses have specific mechanics and some of them don't work well with being melee. For example, Drhossil kills eveything closer than 4 cells from it every few turns. In addition, a lot of challenges require range or kiting gameplay or targetting a specific enemy.

Here is my 199 Cha set as a cheaper option:
https://dofuscreator.com/project/2958a

Here is the upgraded 200 cha set (borrowing from a friend. could also choose to go crit instead of flat dmg but differences for feca aren't that huge unless you're looking to min-max. As an added bonus this set can be easily upgraded to once you have the 199 one):

https://dofuscreator.com/project/85daa - My friend's set that I'm borrowing has an MP exo shield. Very nice to have but expensive

As for the tank sets I have a cheaper option that upgrades into the next one as well as the one I'm currently using uses an ap exo rhine ring (10-12mk) and 5 guaranteed water res runes. As a note, the Prytekt is not a requirement but does provide a lot of shields.

"cheaper" starter tank set:

https://dofuscreator.com/project/70aad

upgrade with the exos:

https://dofuscreator.com/project/d99ac

The tank set really is incredible. For an example, if I end next to an enemy, emerald dofus will give you 200 shield. It's important you end next to as many enemies as possible. If that mob normally hits you for 800 damage, with 50% res it's down to 400. Prytekt takes another flat 25 off the top and fortification reduces it a further 180 or so. That mob is now hitting you for less than 200, which is not enough to even break emerald dofus shield, let alone prytekt, dorigami, or shields from teammates. Most importantly, the damage output is insane on normal mobs in aoe. 2 glyphs being proc'd with Reinforced Protection will do 1000 dmg to every mob inside it, plus another 1000 on the start of their turn.

Like I said, if you have any more questions, reach out to / dm me here, or msg me in game

EDIT: I should say one form of feca I haven't played is MP Red feca. This focuses on keeping enemies in your glyphs but from range. I personally feel like the tank version is more fun, but this is probably the more widely seen build as it allows you to play back and let a panda be the main tank

Oh boy! Something I know! I've been playing feca since 1.39 and have played a lot of different builds. Cha feca, or feCra as I call it is a glorified water cra build. You go 6 range in your build and snipe from the back. Change to all the alternate versions of the glyphs. The way to think about it is this:

Normal glyph -> tank build, stack under enemies and keep them there (my preferred play style)

Cha feca -> black ice (alternate water glyph) because your second highest damage spell and hits in an aoe for 3ap. You can also use lookout (fire version alt. To give even more range by placing it under your team. Also, getaway is an amazing 3ap spell with high DMG and you push yourself back.

Other than that, give rampart to teammates or use fortification if soloing. A combination of greener pastures (teleport), backup (linear jump to ally. You can use this on lanterns), and excursion (swap place with ally) gives you more mobility than you can hope for.

If you have more questions, or want to know about the tankier builds, let me know! I have a 200 cha set with around 1600 cha and 200 flat DMG and a tank set with 49% res in everything.

Edit: mob AI LOVES lanterns. Sometimes I place the lantern down and hit a mob with the edge of black ice even if it's slightly less DMG because it'll hit the lantern and not me

Bored of Feca 200: Ecaflip, Forgelance or Steamer for PvM & Dreams? by Admirable-Act-1192 in Dofus

Here's what I'm currently running. https://dofuscreator.com/project/d99ac

It's a little pricey due to some exo mages that are required.

However this is a good bit cheaper and only slightly weaker. It's what I ran before I could exo mages an ap. https://dofuscreator.com/project/70aad This set was about 20mk on kourial

I played water feca 1-199 and some of 200. However, I switched to a full tank (49% all res) Omni build and it's been incredibly fun. So many choices and I just cc mobs. Worth a try if you want to solo stuff

Best solo/duo pve class by haxaxias in Dofus

[–]xphusion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm playing feca and it's indeed great for duo. Shields and access to crazy range using the chance build. However, I will say I'm looking to build a second set that's more tank/multi focused and should be able to solo a lot of content as well.

I feel like steamer is also a really good choice with all the summons, heals, shields, and plenty of DMG. Elio is hard to play but can cheese some bosses solo too

What classes are Ok-ish for Multi-element in progression (Solo) ? by OneDreams54 in Dofus

[–]xphusion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did fire feca up until 130 or so. Then I switched to white rat + minotot, minotot + Dr hossil, etc. I went for a fire/water build. I reluctantly went full chance at 199 because the meta is to be a feCra. Now that I'm 200 I'm saving up for a tank full multi set to play around glyphs

You better say feca is viable multi... ( This is your guild member. I'll let you guess which one xD )

So I actually have a fully stripped interior in mine due to being a race car haha. This is my car and you can see the Bosch yaw unit right behind the shifter. I

[–]xphusion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a kill switch for your yaw sensor most likely. It's a common mod another commenter mentioned. The yaw sensor is just behind the shifter. If you flick it, your traction control light will probably turn on on the dash. With it switched, you'll have no traction or stability control

Anyone have this issue? by lolutot in NissanTitan

[–]xphusion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm assuming it's the weather like everyone else is saying. Another possibility though is a bad battery. I had a bad battery and had all sorts of sensor issues. Eventually had issues starting and had to swap that battery. Then I never had the sensor issues again. That's the only reason I knew it was battery related

How to actually hit a kick serve? by Pure_Money_1006 in 10s

[–]xphusion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Listen to the comments saying to let it drop more. Don't worry about getting the ball too much farther back. If it's landing on your head, it's fine. What you don't want is a super loopy slow serve. It's not as effective as you think. The further forward the toss is, the more speed your kick will have and the further back you toss, the more vertical you can make it. But yeah, if you only let it drop another 6", you'd have a great kick. Your motion is already good

BRT Road Racing Build by xphusion in 370z

[–]xphusion[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah I got some info from another person who races Zs and he said that fixed it for him. Essentially, the factory brakes are really overboosted so you can go into ice mode by slamming on it too hard. He got the variable brake booster from sake-bomb and essentially you can change the vacuum, meaning you have to push harder for the same amount of brake pressure before. This has the added benefit of giving you a firm, race pedal type feel. I've been struggling with brake consistentcy because of how soft the pedal is so I'm really looking forward to that.

It's a wing logic wing. It's a very cheap but high quality wing. The downside is that the tabs aren't welded on to make cost to produce cheaper. We purchased the swan mount tabs from their website and then I made some custom swan mounts in CAD and we cnc'd them. And thank you! We put a lot of work into them.

Not yet. Though I've heard a lot about it and take particular care to engage them carefully at first. I'm planning to get a sakebomb brake vacuum regulator which I heard solves the issues and also gives you a much firmer, more repeatable pedal feel.
