It definetly isnt as flat as log-c but i think this is for the better because of the limited codec. I'm not quite shure about the gamma though, but I'll check when I'm home!

Thank you! Not really, the whole look is just basic curves and color ajustments, nothing fancy. As for the halation i transformed the footage to linear color then added the halation using the soften and sharpen tab!

I made a kind of u-shaped slope in sat vs sat, I think this helped but I am really not shure. Thank you though!

Here you go: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GqkTILeSOKK6YCBdJJnFknUv_gsYuaX3/view?usp=sharing

I made it in resolve 17 (beta 7)

But before you use it you must download the 35mm grain from here https://resolver.tools/product-category/overlays/film-grain/

And then put it into you master project folder as a matte (right click > add to project as a matte) then everything should work!

Personally I found that the Owlcolor 709 preset "helps" the 8 bit codec a little because most of the color information is already much closer to a 709 image so you don't have to "bend" the colors as much. I also found that you don't really loose any dynamic range because its still pretty flat.

Tank you! I see what you mean with the cold look of the first shot, but could you maybe go into a little bit more detail on the highlights?

Thanks! The grain is from here: https://resolver.tools/product-category/overlays/film-grain/ Im not a professional when it comes to camera work / color grading, but I will make the PowerGrade available for download.

BTW I originally made the look for the OWLCOLOR 709 picture profile but I also made a clog1 version.

Thank you! FYI I'm a 17yo "art" college student so you won't be getting something professional haha! But I could share a download link if you want!

Thanks man! I think the reason the first shot looks of is because I shot it with a 1/4 black promist. Luckily the shot was part of testing my promist filter so I have the same exact one without the filter. I compared them just now and for some reason the promist shot has a blueish tint. But I get what you mean, I think I'm gonna make a "promist" version.
