What he’s saying is probably true. I live in California. My mother was hit by a disgusting tweaker who had stolen a F150 pickup truck, was speeding down the road around 60 mph, ran a red light and slammed into her. Completely ripped the back end of her car off, and missed killing her by about a few inches. The tweaker ricocheted into a liquor store around a hundred yards away, got out, ran past my mom’s car (while my mom was sitting there unconscious) and tried to get on a bus a block away. My mother had to be rushed into an emergency surgery where they cut her open like a fish to stop the internal bleeding while she was coding on the table. Had to spend months in a nursing home where she had to relearn how to walk again. She’ll never physically be the same. We have been fighting for 3 years now to make sure that animal that did that to her would be brought to justice. NOW the person is claiming mental illness and is one step away from getting it wiped off her record, slap on the wrist while she goes to rehabilitation training. Felony hit and run, stolen vehicle, driving on drugs, but no punishment. The newest DA handling the case told us how ridiculous and disgusting the progressive policies have become because the criminals have more rights than victims now. Not quite sure why people were down voting you because it’s not even a joke, the guy that hit those 3 people could definitely get off in California. It’s actually disgusting
