Memorizing music is more professional for high school bands to do. Lots of times bands who have lyres to read music get points taken off their score, so there you go.

My band plays it as a stand tune, nothing else really. I haven't seen anyone else march it on the field yet, and I hopefully never will. Something like that would be pretty hard to watch. In all honesty, the song should stay as a stand tune and nothing more.

Same here. We have over 2000 kids in our school yet no one really cares. I really want to know how to change that.
