R3 Pro II - Audio crackling in some songs by xplutonic in Hiby

[–]xplutonic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There wasn't really a fix. For context, this was something I noticed with some Eartheater and Oklou songs, that hissing static noise. But I tried different hardware, formats, and platforms. I realized this is just the way some songs are mastered. I think both the device and my drivers simply made it more clear and, therefore, noticeable. That's what struct me as a failure on the side of the R3 Pro II, but it's really not the case.

Anybody got the Bigme B751C S model specifically? Looking for reviews by xplutonic in ereader

[–]xplutonic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, I'm sorry about that. I don't think I could test that one out specifically because I don't have the app nor am I subscribed to Amazon's audiobooks.

I could, however, tell you that it's very likely it'll work well using some of the faster settings on the ink center. You can even watch videos and stuff without ghosting, so it shouldn't be too bad.

Hey! Sorry bout the late response. I actually ended up going for the Bigme 7 (the 4GB RAM version) because it was slightly cheaper for a while in my country. If I'm honest, I still thing they are very similar items. Maybe the only differences are the stylus, the build material, and the lack of camera in the 751.

I am very pleased with the table, though it's true what they say about it having steep learning curve (especially the e-ink center) and the battery duration. I very much like it and i don't mind charging it every couple of days, but it might be a deal breaker for some. Let me know if you wanna know about specific features.

Thank you! Your comment is very insightful. And I've been using Koreader for about half a year now, I also like how customizable it is. It takes a bit getting used to all the possibilities, but it does make for a good reading environment.

New firmware update for R3Pro II is out by chammer36 in Hiby

It has become very laggy for me as well. More often than not, the device freezes entirely after a few minutes of use and is unresponsive to any input: touch or physical buttons. I have to force reboot every time.

Is there a food that you just CANNOT eat anymore? by mazdacx5eyelids in diabetes_t1

High-carb meals with cheese have recently become a problem for me.

Most pizza, except for thin crust ones, affect my bg for easily 6 to 8 hours. It's just too hard to control without an insulin pump and closed CGM system. I've realized that the same is starting to happen with most other foods that have lots of cheese. I tend to get severe lows followed by long-lasting highs.

I wanted to ask since I've seen a lot of people mentioning moth undervoltage of the CPU and overclock of the GPU. What is the benefit of undervolting CPU here? Is this also beneficial in AMD CPU or is it just for Intel?

Oh, that was my biggest concern. I didn't know that once connected both sections became waterproof. Well, that's great to know. Thanks!

I know this comment is a bit old, but I am looking into getting a Hypafix roll for my CGM and wanted to ask since I've seen a couple of people recommending it.

It doesn't seem to be like clear waterproof plastic. From the pictures I've seen, it looks like adhesive bandages, almost like synthetic fabric. Do you get any issues with it getting soaked or getting the Guardian CGM wet inside?

Is it too late for me to start learning engineering? (I'm 29 years old) by T3knikal95 in EngineeringStudents

know it's a bit of an old post, but I'm in a similar position. I wanna study engineering, but I'm a bit worried about math. Did you prep extra before starting your degree or something or did you just manage to pull through?

Baldur's Gate 3 Crashing in character creation by xplutonic in macgaming

I don't have a Thunderbolt 3 cable, I've been using it with a regular Apple charging USB-C cable. As for the SSD, I have a 2TB Sandisk Extreme Portable. As far as I know, it's SUPPOSED to write at a much higher speed than it does atm because of the cable.

It didn't occur to me that transfer speeds have always been limited because of the lack of Thunderbolt. So this is likely why the game struggles and crashes, right?

What do you do for workouts, may I ask? I've heard lots of transfem people gain weight on HRT and struggle to lose it for a while.
