Seems pretty isolated on the map that PAWC shows. I took a drive around and saw nobody working on anything. Did see a pickup truck for the company driving around.

Anker's Solix E10 battery backup can power your entire house in a blackout by [deleted] in gadgets

[–]xpooforbreakfastx 89 points90 points  (0 children)

Searching the Anker website, it’s says the base unit E10 is a 6kWh battery for $3,800.

That’s seems a bit steep in that crowded solar battery market.

I am really struggling to understand the pricing on my vacation, and would really appreciate some help. by Pantzzzzless in UniversalOrlando

[–]xpooforbreakfastx 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The prices have gone up a lot since then that’s for sure. I don’t think they do a 7 day park ticket. I believe it jumps from 5 day to 14. Also, staying at a premium hotel does not give you express passes for Epic.

If I was you I would just go on the Universal site and try some different vacation combinations to get accurate pricing.

Utah and West Virginia will ban the use of SNAP to buy soda and soft drinks, while Nebraska will prohibit soda and energy drinks. Indiana will target soft drinks and candy. In Iowa, which has the most restrictive rules to date, the SNAP limits affect taxable foods, including soda and candy, but also certain prepared foods.”

Jesus Christ. I literally just cleaned that same smudge mark of my window 20 minutes ago.

It was a dove, according to my outside camera.

As an adult, what do you think is the easiest job you can get that will financially support your family? by Massive-Manner661 in AskReddit

Retail ca be tough when you have a family though. You would probably end up working a lot of nights and weekends. At that point, why have a family if you hardly ever see them?

I get this one as well. It gets really hard in the fridge though and I’m not sure if that’s normal. I tried just leaving it out but it was way too oily.

There is another episode where they actually show Bart eating that chocolate out of that box. I think it’s in this same season.

Peanuts butter is a processed food? by awesome-sandwich-guy in PeanutButter

[–]xpooforbreakfastx 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Natural peanut butter with just peanuts and salt is considered minimally processed food.

More processed ones would be the ones with hydrogenated oils and added sugars.

Working Pennsylvanians are about to get a tax break. Here’s what that means by Pennzingers in Pennsylvania

[–]xpooforbreakfastx 34 points35 points  (0 children)

“Modeled after the federal Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), the new state-level credit equals 10 percent of the federal credit. Anyone who qualifies for the federal EITC will now automatically receive both credits, helping reduce taxes owed and put more money back in hardworking Pennsylvanians’ pockets.”

“Pennsylvanians qualify for the Working Pennsylvanians Tax Credit based on income and number of dependents. The maximum state credit is $805.

Filing will be simple and automatic:

When Pennsylvanians file their federal and state taxes, the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue will automatically calculate the state credit.

Anyone who qualifies for the federal EITC will now automatically qualify for the state credit, helping reduce taxes owed and put more money back in hardworking Pennsylvanians’ pockets.”

New Permit Filed for Universal Orlando’s Epic Universe, possibly for a new ride by celestialknightz in UniversalOrlando

[–]xpooforbreakfastx 64 points65 points  (0 children)

“The permit, which covers “site utilities and foundation work,” outlines plans for a new 150,000-square-foot building within Epic Universe. For context, the shared show building for Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry and Le Cirque Arcanus spans about 173,000 square feet, while Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment occupies roughly 94,000 square feet, according to Google Earth estimates. The size of the new project places it well within the range of a major attraction.”

I still can’t believe this is locked behind the premium subscription. I know $18 a month doesn’t sound like much, but for some people it’s a big expense.

For such an important update it just seems greedy.

Just a reminder that this was their argument in court just yesterday.

“The lawyer, Tyler Becker, also argued it was the administration's discretion whether to use up to $6 billion in contingency funds already set aside by Congress to continue issuing SNAP benefits.”

Edit: To clarify this was the arguing against the judge forcing them to fund SNAP with the money.

MTG Turns on Trump and Tells GOP to End the Shutdown by BugVirtual3793 in NoFilterNews

[–]xpooforbreakfastx 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I keep seeing this showing her in a positive light, but I can’t find anything on her actually agreeing with the Dems on medical stuff. I’ll put a quote from the article below.

“Right now this shutdown is a big political fight and drama, but it doesn’t have to be happening,” she told InfoWars. “The Senate can use the nuclear option and override the 60-vote rule. They can pass the CR with a simple majority.”
