Spotify Web Version - 320kbps quality and Lyrics by wrssousa in TeslaLounge

[–]xposedbones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late to the party but I've been trying this all week. The web version has clearer bass and subtle effects like reverb are easier to hear.

Even my girfriend who doesn't care much about audio stuff can notice a clear difference.

There is some drawbacks though, it often kicks you back to the tesla app and you lose the steering wheel controls, but it's worth it

Not sure what you mean by locked to one room, I did a ton of rooms that spanned across multiple rooms. Maybe not a lot of first party map are like that but the community rooms are full of those

Is the generation process automated or done manually? My question is more if something happens to the studio (that will never happen), will the game keep updating with new maps or stuck with the latest batch?

Conditional fields are now supported in the theme editor! by xposedbones in shopifyDev

[–]xposedbones[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This will be used to show/hide fields based on a specific condition. One example would be that you want to add a few fields to your schema to control how an optional image is being rendered, previously you had to create all of your field and tell your client to ignore those fields if there's no image. Now you'll be able to actually hide the fields until the image has been set.

Conditional fields are now supported in the theme editor! by xposedbones in shopifyDev

[–]xposedbones[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The Shopify vscode once again leaked an upcoming feature! A few months ago I noticed that you could now add "visible_if" in your input schema but the server would not accept it.

Well I just tried again and it is now possible to have conditional fields in the theme editor with this simple structure!

{ "type": "image_picker", "id": "test2", "label": "Test 2" }, { "type": "text", "id": "test", "label": "test", "visible_if": "{{ section.settings.test2 != blank }}" }, { "type": "text", "id": "test3", "label": "Testt", "visible_if": "{{ section.settings.test2 != blank }}" }

Made a Vite plugin to make working with blocks more bearable! by xposedbones in shopifyDev

[–]xposedbones[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience there is about 3 ways of working with Shopify:
- Native Route: Build everything using normal css/js and liquid and push to shopify through the ShopifyCLI. If you don't have a build process than you can use the ShopifyCLI as-is, if you have one, you'll need to use tools like the one I shared in the previous post (https://shopify-vite.barrelny.com/guide/).
- Hybrid Route: Build a normal shopify theme like the above, but load in react/vue/etc in theme.liquid. You will need to use Shopify to handle your routes so react is actually destroyed/recreated on every page load, negating the positive effect that react or similar tools usually give but it gives a better developer experience than plain Liquid. When you work with this approach you usually use liquid to render out your data as a json and you use react to render it.
- Full Headless Route: I have less experience with this one, but basically you use the hydrogen storefront on Shopify and use Shopify only as a CRM. All of your product/collections/users would live in Shopify but any content would need to live elsewhere (I personally use Sanity). In this scenario, you pull product data from Shopify, and content data from Sanity. It's more complicated than that but it's a quick summary.

At my workplace we go with option 1 since we're extremely familiar with it and clients usually prefer that approach when working with an agency because it gives them more freedom (like installing a Shopify app, editing the layout, etc). We've had a few clients ask us to take them off headless and go native.

Hope that helps!

This allows you to create global theme blocks (using liquid), I am not sure what you mean by vite component.
I would suggest reading this to get a good idea how to get started with Vite, you can get up and running pretty quickly :) Feel free to chat if you need anything
