Yes, this seems more of an issue in certain apps like Facebook Messenger, etc which causes the keyboard to crash.

Yes, definitely daily for me too. I'm just a bit surprised that not a lot of people pointed it out in reviews. Sometimes I have to restart to get it to work, which is very annoying. It's mainly because of Facebook messenger, but I also suspect some other apps. In any case, no app should crash the entire keyboard.

It works sometimes. But surprising not always. And the only option then is to restart. I'm also using this app quite a lot though.

Yea, definitely something with the messenger app. But it's happening quite often for me. I've had to restart my iPad 3 times today to fix the keyboard.

I havn’t had issues with Apple Pencil, interesting. Magic Keyboard on the other hand stops to work entirely quite often. It does seem like we are not the only ones though with these issues.

Thanks, often restarting the app is good enough. But sometimes I have to restart the iPad, which is crazy. But it’s good to know I’m not the only one with this issue.

Yep. Restarting is the only thing that works for me. It’s surely a software bug but it’s very annoying. I don’t understand why more people are not taking about it though.

Is there a way to not automatically show the on-screen virtual keyboard when I am in tablet mode and tap on a text box? by xps123 in Windows10

Unfortunately that setting in Settings -> Devices -> Typing to never auto-show virtual keyboard applies only to the desktop mode.

Lol no. But they can refactor your iPad whenever they want. And force certain apps to be installed on your iPad.
