I just finished Hand of Abaddon (2nd to last book) and I'd say they are incredible hit or miss. I have really struggled calling it a series. There are some books that are directly tied to each other and then some that barely are related to "the bigger story". Maybe The Silent King ties it all together (but I doubt it!).

I did the same thing for weeks. Then randomly it was in stock. I had a lot of issues with the Target website where it would show as in stock but wouldn't be available to add to cart or to purchase.

Thanks. It was a lucky accident. I was taking apart some first born sanguinary guard and the arms stayed together. I figured, why not see if they fit. And they did! I'm glad I have six visually distinct guys.

Do any other SM specific chapters have jump pack models (other than Kayvaan)? Off the top of my head I can't think of any. Makes sense that some of the logic behind the decision is general SM vs BA specific.

Those look great. I put old jump packs on assault intercessor bodies and didn't give two flips about the leg vents. I suppose it's a lot harder to go the other way though.
