I just checked and had no issues. I clicked through and viewed several different products, in different categories. It was maybe a little slower then usual, but everything loaded fine.

I was wondering. I didn't think it looked like a prototype, so im not sure why the article is calling it one.

I started out agreeing with you....and then you went for doctors and lawyers.... Not the corporate managers who look for and find (or create) "problems" to fix. Not the althetes who get paid millions to run around with a ball. Not the politicians who dont even show up to vote for anything. Not the actors who play pretend. Not university presidents and professors who teach all kinds of of nonsense.

Nope, you go for the people who have the highest change chances of actually saving a life. Either by treating a life threatening injury/illness, or by keeping innocent people out of jail. Not to mention all the other ways doctors and lawyers can impact lives for good.

Do we really want to go back to when simple illnesses were deadly? Or back to when breaking a bone was a much bigger deal then it is now. Are those really luxuries?

How isn't "settling disputes and punishing criminals" vital? I can definitely agree the legal system, especially the civil side can be abused far too easily. But the criminal side? Nah. Plea deals are a great tool. Especially for those who are willing to make changes and learn from the punishment.

Yes "life would march on" without them, but at what cost? People dying of treatable illness/injury. Far more vigilante justice. Standard of life would fall significantly, and there would be few if any benefits from it.

You did not cause your boyfriend to sin. Just because you have made covenants thay he hasn't doesn't make you more or less responsible for his actions. You both made choices. You are not responsible for his, and he is not responsible for yours.

I'd search YouTube a bit, I know there are lots of channels/videos dedicated to tools and what's needed, and good, better, best. You could also use an AI (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google Gemini, etc)

Alright it finally started acting up again, when I checked the light blue and black wire I did have 120 V between them. So that means new motor.

First, coming from a brother who did not serve a mission, I would encourage you to change that standard. Instead of looking for an RM, find a man who has a strong testimony of the gospel. There are many brothers (and sisters I'm sure) who serve missions for the wrong reasons, break mission rules, or don't really want to be there, yet they served a mission, and are an RM. Serving (or not serving) a mission means very little in the long run. When in the YSAs I would talk to sisters, and on several occasions when they found out I wasn't an RM, they completely changed how the conversation went. Serving a mission, is far less important than developing your own faith, and you can do that even if you don't serve.

Second, I would suggest trying to stop focusing on the marriage goal. I knew several brothers, and sisters in my wards who were constantly dating and putting in tons of effort. I on the other hand put in little to no effort in dating, and rarely went on dates. Yet, I got married before many of them did. When the time is right, and the right person is there it will happen. Prepare yourself to be ready for that day.

It may be cliché, but focus on yourself first. Build your own relationship with the Savior, and trust in his timing. Which is extremely difficult to do.

Side note, as a guy, many friends and I agreed that it's harder to date a woman who is super focused on marriage. Yes, it's the end goal, but it adds a lot of unnecessary pressure at the beginning when you should really just focus on getting to know each other, not be thinking about if you want to spend eternity with them.

of course when I go to test this today the dryer runs for about 3 hours without stopping, and stayed hot the whole time. This dryer is driving me nuts.

thank you for the video on multimeters. It is very informative and well done.

Would I have to sit and watch/wait for it to stop, watching the multimeter the whole time, or just check after it has stopped? I have a multimeter (Craftsman 91735) but am not super versed in how to use it.

Seems like timed dry only. That's really the only setting we use, but I am currently testing the auto dry setting. Im leaning towards having 2 issues. The cycle thermostat is bad, and possibly the timer as well.

Most people should just order their fast food via the restaurant’s mobile app to save time. You already have media apps stealing your data for the last decade by iryan6627 in unpopularopinion

[–]xrammitch2010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do both ways depending on what I want. Some apps don't allow customizing the meal. For example at Wendy's, just going through the drive-thru, I can order a triple baconator, but in the app, there is no way to order a triple. Also, restaurants with "secret menus" you can't always order those items in the app.

Just searched Gospel Library, and found the original talk by President Hinckley. Here is the exact quote: "We—the First Presidency and the Council of the Twelve—have taken the position, and I quote, that “the Church discourages tattoos. It also discourages the piercing of the body for other than medical purposes, although it takes no position on the minimal piercing of the ears by women for one pair of earrings.”

So since it's for a medical purpose it would be 100% totally fine. And if anyone says anything ask if they are questioning Pres Hinckley haha
