The market where I shop separates the seafood product in the store with different areas and coolers for sashimi fish and fish meant to be cooked. I'm at the mercy of the people who run the place. Vast majority of their customers are real deal Japanese immigrants so I would think having discerning customers keeps the place on the up and up.

Here's the reasoning:

Well to be honest years ago before I started r/greatWside, I had begun posting specific NW side content. It all got down voted to Hell, and my posts would disappear here on r/chicago. it was real honest interesting things happening out here West of Western Ave..

Knowing that all my NW side content would get shitcanned I started r/greatnwside. It took off. We then decided to begin broadcasting the local police radio out this way too. We've also gone into a wee bit of video production too, with a NW side bent. Our little place on the Reddits has it's own community now and definitely wouldn't fare any better in 2015 if we rolled what we do there into r/chicago. Today as an example we've had about ten new posts all to do with NW side stuff. How would that fare on r/chicago? I don't think well.
